Florz patch for zaphfc
Has anyone had any success using the Florz patch for zaphfc ?
I have a * system with 2 HFC cards which is working fine with 2 PTP ISDN
lines however the users are complaining of crackles on the line which I am
assuming is related to the IRQ issues raised by Florz.
I have tried to use the patch but it errors trying to patch zaphfc.h
Any help would be appreciated.

Stuart

Bristuff ZapHFC and Loosing D-Channel
Using the latest(?) bristuff (Asterisk 1.0.4-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC3a) I
have problems with loosing the D-channel. Most of the time, after the
message
"PRI D-channel down"
it only takes a second or so to come back up, noted by the message
"PRI D-channel up"
However, today most of the time the D-channel stays down. Calls come in,
but can't be answered.
Does anyone know

how to debug frame slips?
Hi, I'm running into issues receiving faxes which, from what I have read,
may be caused by frame slips. While I can find many posts saying to
investigate it, I can't find any that describe *how* to debug the problem.
Tried searching this list as well to no avail.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
FYI, I'm running wbel, AMP 1.04, spandsp 2pre4. Faxing to a pstn on a

dtmf tone clamping in calls to external ivr
Hello,
I'm having trouble working out how to send DTMF tones to an external
IVR. My system has an analog phone connected to a TDM400P card, a SIP
software phone (Zultys LIPZ4) and is connected to a BRI in Australia
with a NETjet-S card. I'm using ISDN4Linux and a 2.4.25 kernel patched
with the ISDN audio patch from Traverse (which allows the card to do
voice).
DTMF works fine between

R: Best drivers for HFC-S ISDN cards
Mine is very similar: i don't have echocancelwhenbridged=yes because it seems work only on TDM, is it ?
And in Italy, I often have set pridialplan = unknown
About echo I have some problems, but only at the beginning of the call. After 3-4 seconds the echo became almost null, specially with snom 190; with pa168s and ywh10 I have again some problem, the echo come up also after 1 minute of

Results of MCD estimators in MASS and rrcov
Hi!
I tested two different implementations of the robust MCD estimator:
cov.mcd from the MASS package and
covMcd from the rrcov package.
Tests were done on the hbk dataset included in the rrcov package.
Unfortunately I get quite differing results -- so the question is whether
this differences are justified or an error on my side or a bug?
Here is, what I did:

Random DTMF tones generated from speech in conversations
Hi,
My Asterisk systems runs like a dream with mISDN, SIP and even and old
Digium board. But have almost in every conversation some irritating DTMF
being generated. The seems to be just as often from all trunks but are
worse if noise load speaker in other end.
Any good advices?
Where to look for forgotten DTMF detection settings?
Thank you!

Door phone
Hi,
Is there an affordable HW solution to do a door phone on *?
I do not mind using the solder iron to modify an existing door box.
Thank you!

Random DTMF tones generated from speech
Thank you, very interesting!
As I understand the Digium card is used as a interrupt source for Asterisk?
Is there a diagnostic tool available ?
Anybody else experienced a simmialr problem?
Thank you!

Can't dial SIP<->EuroISDN (HFC-S based PCI ISDN card): Unable to create channel of type 'Zap'
Hi,
I'm trying to set up an Asterisk pbx based on a Fedora Core 1 Linux box
(customized kernel version 2.4.24). I want calls from my SIP soft-phones
to simply be dumped onto the PSTN line via a BRI (EuroISDN). I have a cheap
HFC-S based PCI ISDN card connected to the NT1+ interface, so I need zaphfc.
I've read everything I've found at www.voip-info.org, then I've downloaded

low-cost * (newbie question)

put aside for a traditional phone/fax with no fancy stuff]
* a server box
* several client hosts (all linux with x)
currently, the isdn lines are unused (to

Best practice to set up 4 line phones
Hi,
I would like some advice from you on how to configure a multi line phone
the best way!
So far I have given the phone 4 sip accounts one for each line, this is
a lot of work and gets messy.
Is it a better way to do this?
Thank you!
