Bluetooth (chan_btp): dialing external phone number through BTP/Zap when bluetooth device not present?
I sent the following message a few days ago, but never received a reply, so I thought I'd ask again.. Can anyone tell me how me to get asterisk to dial out a phone number using BTP when a bluetooth device is not detected? I can get BTP to dial to a SIP phone, but I can't get it to dial through a POTS phone line using the Zap interface.. I've tried putting the following under the

Cannot compile chan_bluetooth on Asterisk 1.2.1
The short of it: I am unable to compile chan_bluetooth on Asterisk 1.2.1 on CentOS 4.2. I installed using the Asterisk@Home 2.2 iso. Server is a plain Celeron 2.93GHz box. Asterisk source is in /usr/src/asterisk, newest chan_bluetooth source is in /usr/src/asterisk-test/bluetooth/chan_bluetooth (I have two older versions in other directories). Steps taken: Followed the instructions here to a

Connecting Asterisk to GSM
Hi List, I was wondering if there was any device I could use to connect * to GSM networks. I don't need much capacity, maybe 2-4 GSM channels. As usual, cheap is better :-) Any tips on this? Cheers, Jean-Michel.

Limiting what devices can pair over Bluetooth?
I've managed to get a Wacom Intuos Pro 2 (PTH-660) tablet working over Bluetooth to a CentOS 7 install. Well, I didn't actually have to do much to get it working ... However, we don't normally enable Bluetooth for security reasons, so I need to be able to configure things so Bluetooth can _only_ be used to pair with Wacom tablets As I never used Bluetooth in anger before, I'm

bluetooth audio and asterisk
Has anyone successfully used a standard bluetooth enabled system to connect to a standard bluetooth enabled mobile phone (not the bluetooth to FXS converters) to create an audio path for phone calls with asterisk, if so is there a writeup on what was done so that others can replicate this. What I am thinking is that via alsa/oss/whatever you should be able to use the bluetooth audio channel as a

wine and bluetooth
Hi, I've got an application that relies on bluetooth and although the bluetooth can see the device I want to pair with linux doesn't offer any way of doing this but just says that it will try to pair once a service requests this.. the application is windows and I'm starting to suspect that the problem isn't in the bluetooth or linux but something in wine that isn't requesting

Question for members on using OPUS with Bluetooth
Hi All; This is my first post to the OPUS group but I would like to find out if anyone is using OPUS over Bluetooth? If so, I have some follow-up questions on the implementation strategies that have been used. Is anyone using OPUS over A2DP? Is it possible for off-the-shelf OPUS bluetooth devices manufactured by different companies to be compatible with each other? If so, which A2DP Audio

Bluetooth phone as SIP handset?
Even better you can set your firefly softphone to auto answer so that you don't even need to be near the pc to answer. There are somes products available claiming to connect a BT headset, a cell phone and a phone land line all together. It's VoIP land phone that can make/receive a voice call using your CTP cell phone or BT-enabled headset. Maybe the best system

Serial Connection through Bluetooth
I'm on a mac, and I'm trying to get a series of complicated things to work. Yay! I've got an iRobot Create with BAM (Bluetooth Adapter Module), and I'm trying to get RealTerm, which is a serial Terminal, to not only send serial commands from the wine emulation to my real system, but to get those serial commands to be sent over bluetooth to a specific device, and have the input
