6 channel encoding
It appears that either Vorbis was never intended to support more than 2 channels or the algorithm doesn't work for low sound levels. In trying to encode Beauty and the Beast and Starwars II using 6 channels, the Vorbis encoder produced noise in all the scenes were audio dropped below -25 dB. Unfortunately since most dialog is below -25 dB, the Vorbis encodings are unintelligable for most

wisotool: automated game installer, now supports 12 games
wisotool is a handy winetricks-like script for automatically installing games from .iso files copied from your own dvds (or, if the game is freely downloadable, it will download it). Unlike winetricks, wisotool is quiet by default; it doesn't ask any questions

latest documentation of OpenStack for CentOS7
Dear Gianluca, Thanks for sharing this information it will take my whole week again to read the architecture and to understand it. By the way is it recommended to run the OpenStack on top of ESXi6 for testing purpose? When I provision the CentOS VMs for this test I append this line 'vhv.enable=true' inside the .vmx file to support Nested-Environment inside my ESXi6 Its my first time to

app_dial Flag
A nice flag in app_dial ? would be f and F to indicate weather to send flash to the fxo or fxs device in a bridged call. so if you have a pots line on an x100p bridged to a tdm400p and the pots line has call waiting you hear the call waiting signal 'f' would behave as normal and flash on the tdm400p and 'F' would send the flash on the x100p The flashing the tdm400p

[backport] Allow app_dial to play 'indication tone while ringing' back ported to 1.6.2.X
I have back ported the 'r' feature for app Dial from 1.8.0 to 1.6.2.X. The link to the diff is below. http://files.bluecrow.net/asterisk/backports/1.6.2/asterisk-1.6.2.4-app_ dial-play-indications.diff I made the diff against 1.6.2.4 and later patched a 1.6.2.13 system. All hunks passed. I have this running on two production 1.6.2.X systems with no problems yet. The

Patch for app_dial.c: exit when just one ext is busy.
I made a patch to app_dial.c to make Dial(ext1&ext2&ext3,tumeout,B) return busy when just one extension is busy. http://www.neland.dk/app_dial.c.diff It works, but... I can't figure out setting/reading an option. It looks fairly easy, but the flag is always set. *** app_dial.c.org 2009-11-04 22:15:50.000000000 +0100 --- app_dial.c 2009-12-01 09:29:19.000000000 +0100
