A sample video can be downloaded, using BitTorrent, from www.theora.org.
It's in the Contents section on the left side of the page, and labeled "CC

How to make opus work on a low end device ?
hi,
I am porting opus encoder to a low end device with 32K ram, 256K flash and 32MHz arm M3 mcu.
But opus seems consume too much. To make it work , what I can think of
1, Only fixed point supported
2, Only mono voice application supported
3, Set complexity to zero
4, Support only one sample rate, like 16KHz
5, Silk mode only or Celt mode only
My question is , before

Serial port problem and strange solution (Fujitsu MCU development under wine)
Hi to everyone, this is my first post to the list.
I'm developing an application for a Fujitsu MCU (90364 series) using
Fujitsu Softune6 Workbench in linux under wine.
Everithing works well exept for the firmware serial uploader.
It starts and sends some commands to the MCU but hangs with a timeout
error (obviously I've correctly simlinked and chmodded the appropriate
ttyS*).

Speex on EFM32
In fact, on my shelf is running speex using Raisonance Primer2 DK and IAR
STM32-SK DK.
But I want to save the power consumption of the device runnig speex, and
EFM32 seems to be a very good candidate.
Also, do yo think that the STM32F103 (Cortex M3 90 MIPS) could be used to
run Speex at 4 Kbps in real time?

OT: Video Surveillance SW on CentOS
I suggested to our Homeowners Association that we begin a Private
Forum (phpBB) and web site. That suggestion has been well received and
we will proceed with that.
Now, I have become involved in a much more complex and important
project, which is Video Surveillance, for the entrance to our
subdivision.
I Googled and found two (2) things for Linux that seem to be OK:

OT: hardware: blackmagic video capture cards
Hi, folks,
I'm still trying to find a video capture card that won't crash Dell
servers, and ran across a Blackmagic BDLKDUO2 DeckLink Duo 2. It claims
to support Linux. I'm also seeing, in the few non-Blabkmagic or sales
pages I can find, that they like "binary blobs". I also haven't been
able to find anything about o/s or library requirements.

What combination of pwlib and openh323 are required to get Asterisk-oh323 v0.7.1 to compile
Hi there
I have Asterisk running beautifully on our test server. Over the past few
days I have been tearing my hair out trying to compile various versions of
asterisk-oh323 on various versions of pwlib and openh323.
pwlib is now up to 1.8.3 and openh323 is now 1.15.2 stable.
asterisk-oh323 is currently 0.7.1
I have tried these three with many errors.
I have tried 0.7.1 with pwlib 1.5.2 and

[LLVMdev] PIC16 removal details
I've been looking closely at LLVM as a means to developing a new toolchain
for an MCU core of very similar architecture. To that end, the once
included PIC16 backend might be a valuable reference. I found a message in
April of this year that indicated it had been dropped from new releases
however, and that were it to be resumed "it will be largely a rewrite".
I'm wondering if

Hi Mark
Funny you should ask this question, I just spent yesterday integrating
building asterisk with h323 support to connect to a Cisco call agent.....I
cant say if it will work for you but it compiles and loads nicely ! I will be
testing this evening....

chan_h323 - Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Hi all:
I've got some core dumps when I use chan_h323. I dial an extension using
h323, routed thru an E100P (like a H323-ISDN_PRI gateway). Sometimes *
hangs, sometimes not. The client used for test es SjPhone
(http://www.sjlabs.com/).
This is the data for one core dump:

On-the-Fly multiplexing Video
Dear Ogg Developer
As written on my subject, is it possible to do on-the-fly video
multiplexing with OGG? I'm doing my final project in my college, and i
want to build a system which has three live videos from cameras, then
i want to transmit those video in single stream. The Receiver can
choose which video that receiver want to see.
I tried using oggz and piping in linux, but it no works.

OH323 0.6.3b compilation problem with 1.0 RC2 on RH9
Hello,
I just tried to compile OH323 0.6.3b on a RH9 machine with Asterisk 1.0 RC2
installed but failed. I applied the patch to the required OpenH323 library
according to the instructions, and set the proper directories in the Makefile.
Here is what I receive after I issue make:

Using meetme video mode with SIP ? Now a $2000 bounty
Hi Nicolas,
There doesn't seem to be any interest in using asterisk and video.
I posted a $1,000 bounty to get video meet me working without a single
reply.
I have now just bumped this to $2000
