compile samba 4.10.2 centos 7.6
Hi Gabriel, I've compiled Samba 4.10.2 on CentOS 7 successfully. I've read the wiki that 4.10.2 version is full compatible with python 3, specifically python 3.4. Then I've install, use the yum command, the package python34-devel and I've added an environment variable at /etc/profile with export PYTHON=python3.4. Thus, I've run ./configure, make and make install with no

Bug#810964: [Xen-devel] [BUG] EDAC infomation partially missing
I haven't yet done as much experimentation as Andreas Pflug has, but I can confirm I'm also running into this bug with Xen 4.4.1. I've only tried Linux kernel 3.16.43, but as Dom0: EDAC MC: Ver: 3.0.0 AMD64 EDAC driver v3.4.0 EDAC amd64: DRAM ECC enabled. EDAC amd64: NB MCE bank disabled, set MSR 0x0000017b[4] on node 0 to enable. EDAC amd64: ECC disabled in the BIOS or no ECC

[LLVMdev] Strange i386 cross build error.
As part of my ELLCC project (http://ellcc.org), I build clang/LLVM on my native x86_64 Linux box and then use it to compile itself. For further sanity checking, I then use that copy to cross compile for other targets (arm, armeb, i386, microblaze, mips, mipsel, ppc, and x86_64). After updating to a recent TOT revision, r195452, I get a strange error when cross compiling for the i386:

dovecot 2.3.x, ECC and wildcard certificates, any issues
Hello, I have discovered what I believe is the issue after hearing back from Aquamail. And that is that android 7 which I'm running 7.0 that is, only supports up to the p256 ecc curve. This brings up a question to users of letsencrypt, when you revoke a certificate does it take it out on the usage as well? I've got one domain that says i've issued to many certificates for it and no

[LLVMdev] ELLCC has self hosted.
The clang/LLVM based ELLCC project (http://ellcc.org), after having reached a huge milestone ( http://ellcc.org/blog/?p=231) has now successfully compiled itself. The steps were: 1. Use gcc to build the compiler with Linux standard libraries. 2. Use ecc to build itself with libc++, libc++ABI, libunwind, musl, and compiler-rt 3. Use the newly built compiler to build itself again. ECC RAM Error
Hello Has any one have any experience in ECC RAM Errors. we are seeing ECC fault Errors but I am not sure if it can be related to RAM it self or it is related to bad connection and noise. please let me know if you have a good document regarding ECC Errors, specially I want to know if data will be retransmitted when error happens. 02:00:31, Thursday, 10/11/2007 : EXCEPTION: ECC Error Interrupt

Why still no PKCS#11 ECC key support in OpenSSH ?
Hi, I was trying to get OpenSSH portable working with my Yubikey.? A key was present on the token but generated using the ECCP384 algorithm. This lead to many obscure goose-chase red-herring error messages from OpenSSH such as the delightful "Could not add card : agent refused operation" or other nonsense that was meaningless and unhelpful. Many hours later in Mr Google's company,

how to adjust link function in logistic regression to predict the proportion of correct responses in 2AFC task?
I have would like to use logistic regression to analyze the percentage of correct responses in a 2 alternative forced choice task. The question is whether one needs to take into account the fact expected probabilities for the percentage of correct responses ranges between 0.5 and 1 in this case and how to adjust the link function accordingly in R (see details below). dovecot 2.3.x, ECC and wildcard certificates, any issues
That is one of the reasons I do not bother since long with public CAs but rather deploy my own, including own OSCP responder. Which has of course has some drawbacks like redundancy, resilience, bandwidth provision, geographical spread, implementing CA security standards and CA trust in clients. Latter though could be easily overcome if browser and email clients were to support DNSSEC/DANE

dovecot 2.3.x, ECC and wildcard certificates, any issues
Hello, What acme implementation do you use for your letsencrypt certificates? If it's acme.sh how do you get both rsa and ecc certificates? What configuration options are you using in your configuration of services to allow access to both rsa and ecc? Thanks. Dave. RHEL 7.3 wish-list
CentOS tracks RHEL and there is something I think probably can only be done in a point release but I believe should be done. Update to nss and curl. The problem - the version of curl that ships with CentOS does not support ECC cryptography. A newer version would, but requires manual specification of the ciphers if the TLS/SSL library used (NSS on RHEL/Fedora) does not have the ECC ciphers
