chan_oh323.so: Segmentation Fault
Hi,
I'm trying to get H323 support using asterisk 0.4.0
Unfortunately the pwlib and openh323 versions
mentioned in the asterisk-oh323 readme file
are no more available, and I had to use newer
ones.
Now I installed all libraries, but got a
segemntion fault when starting asterisk while
reading the chan_oh323.conf file.
When I declare more than 9 gwprefix I get first

account code missing in csv cdr
My cdrs are missing accountcodes for incoming calls from other asterisk
servers..
I've seen a few people mentioning this on the list and the solution
seems to be setting up a dialplan for incoming calls from a particular
sip peer.. in my opinion this does not scale well at all and I am
looking for a solution to correct this problem.
example sip peer:

chan_oh323: __use_ast_pthread_create_instead__ (was: chan_oh323 loading error)
Hi,

is not a bug, it's a hint:
use "ast_pthread_create" instead [what your were using]
and means:
replace in asterisk-oh/asterisk-driver/chan_oh323.c

AGI accountcode.
I've setup cdr_mysql and am using AGI to authenticate users based on the
called-from # (callerid), use the AGI perl module. Looking at the info
stored in the caller detail, I see a field called "accountcode", is it
possible for me to set this field in AGI? I'd like to tie it to a
username, that I pull during my SQL authentication, so I can search the
cdr table based on a

Question about cdr_sql fields
Hello-
Is it possible to set the CDR record field called "accountcode" from within
the dialplan? Or is there another way to cause this field to be set,
preferably without using AGI code.
Thanks

Every time I hangup on my AGI script Asterisk crashes if it is not running
in console mode.
(happens when using python and perl AGI scripts)

Why is no one suggesting any solution here for this problem, which has been lingering for a while.
Are we not supporting H.323 on Asterisk?

I have built Asterisk on SuSe Linux 7.3 on an Ultra 2 Sparc WorkStation. I am listing the modification I had to do for the benefit of anybody else who wants to use Asterisk
This workstation is equipped with one 400 MHz RISC UltraSparc II CPU, 256 MB RAM, Two 9 GB 10,000 RPM UltraSCSI Disks. I have a gatekeeper running on this machine,
I had to do the following modification to build * on Sparc:

Preserving CDR(accountcode) in Local channels
Greetings list,
Whilst running through a routine check of some CDRs, I've noticed that the
originating channel's accountcode isn't preserved on creating a local
channel. For example, if we start with:
exten => 123,1,Set(CDR(accountcode)=foo)
exten => 123,n,Queue(bar,nrtw,,,)
And the queue 'bar' is defined as follows:
[bar]
member => Local/456 at outbound

No callerid on outgoing call over chan_h323
Hi,
Has anybody managed to get callerid properly set on a call from
local to asterisk SIP endpoint through h323-pstn gateway to a
regular phone.
I'm using ata186 as SIP endpoint. It has 12125551234 assigned to it.
When I place a call to pstn I'm not receiving 12125551234 as the clid,
but a number assigned to PRI channel by phone company.
It worked with chan_oh323, but there were other

Pass through of T.38
Hi,
I found some contradicting infos about pass through of
T.38 data.
Are there any experiences of just passing T.38 via SIP from one T.38
application or gateway trough asterisk to another T.38 application
or gateway?
Would asterisk maybe even pass T.38 from chan_oh323 to chan_sip
(without understanding the content)?
Please tell me, if you have knowledges or experiences on this
topic!

reads:

disallow=all

When the customer makes a call to my * server, * recognizes the peer
correctly. However, for some reason, the AccountCode is blank. I have a

Asterisk as H323 gateway
Is there anyone who is currently using Asterisk as a production H323
gateway?
And using which combination of asterisk and H323 (chan_h323, chan_oh323?)
The main issue is interoperability with other H323 parties (Cisco AS53xx,
Nextone, etc).
Searching the mailing list it seems that both h323 and oh323 are not so
stable, is it only an impression or using h323 is really not so advisable?
