Hi all, I really hope that you guys can help, because I've been tearing my hair out for the past 5 hours on this one. I have a Zaphfc (BRI) card in TE mode connected to the S-Bus of a Nortel Meridian phone system. Phone calls from the Nortel to say MSN 510 are correctly being sent to the right SIP phone. When asterisk dials say Zap/g2/224 (a Nortel internal extension) the call goes

zaphfc NT Mode. Extension not recognized...
Hi all I finaly set up a second * with two ZapHFC Cards. One in TE the other in NT mode. So I have a 1.2.5 Asterisk to run Meetme etc... and a 1.2.4 Asterisk to run all that Zaptel stuff. First I used mISDN on 1.2.5 which worked, but sometimes had strange behaviour. So my hope was that zaptel is more stable... It steams realy stable in TE mode. No problem there. debian/dahdi/zaphfc - Unable to receive TEI from network!
Hello, The harddisk of my etch/bristuffed asterisk1.2 box finally died. I moved the cheap (1397:2bd0) HFC-S card to a squeeze host (i686) and built dahdi modules 2.3.0.1 using m-a. After zaptel->dahdi and asterisk 1.2->1.6 config adaptations, everything seems ok, except for the BRI side, unable to bring layers 1/2 up. Asterisk reports: chan_dahdi.c:12393 dahdi_pri_error: 1 Unable to

Limit incoming calls
We have 2x BRI's connected to Asterisk which give us a total of 4 lines (using the bristuffed package). We would like to limit the number of incoming calls to 2 calls and if a 3rd call comes in, we would like this to go to another extension (voicemail or similar). Is this possible in Asterisk? HFC cards and Asterisk
Hi all, In our asterisk box we have a Fritz card and an HFC card. So far I've had the Fritz card working well, but its time to connect the HFC card up to the ISDN line and get it working. I've followed the instructions on voip-info.org here: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+zaphfc+install and here: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+zaphfc+install But when it comes to

ZapHFC & quadBRI D-Channel going down randomly
Hi. I'm running some asterisk boxes on different sites, some equipped with a couple of ZapHFC cards, others with Junghanns quadBRI cards. All boxes were compiled with Asterisk 1.2.10 (libpri 1.2.3 zaptel 1.2.6) and bristuff 0.3.0 pre 1s, distribution is Fedora Core 4 with kernel 2.6.17.3 The cards are connected to Telecom Italia's NT1/NT1+ S/T lines; some of them are point-to-point,

Can only call asterisk once
I have Asterisk RC2 setup here with a Fritz ISDN card on Debian Woody. I'm using chan_capi-0.3.5 and fcpci-suse8.2-03.11.02. Settings are pretty much the default, except in order to get the fcpci module to compile, I had to follow the instructions here: http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk%20AVM%20Fritz%20CAPI%20Driver%20Install but the drivers would only compile if I left

Asterisk calls back after phone call
I'm using a Grandstream IP phone to call someone through our asterisk pbx. The PBX is running "Asterisk 1.0.3-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC3" and uses 2x ZAP-HFC cards. When I call someone, if the call isn't answered and then I hang up, I get "487" coming up on the grandstream phone. If I pick up the receiver again and then hang up, the PBX starts calling me back and when I

Budgetone ringing volume
We have an office full of budgetones and find the ringing volume to be too loud especially when all the phones are ringing at once on an incoming call. I've tried setting the volume on each phone but the volume setting doesn't survive through reboots or power offs. Has anyone found a way to make the volume setting stick? Connecting Asterisk and BT Versatility PBX via NT BRI port
Hi All, I've a BT Versatility PBX that I want to connect to my asterisk 11.9.0 box via BRI port in NT mode but actually I wasn't able to get it working. I've another standalone PBX, it's a Panasonic model, which works fine connected to the same port. The BT connected to a UK BT BRI line works quite fine after roughly a minute once connected. The PBX can be seen at
