similar to: Static noise and server locked when using two 4FXO tdm400p pci cards

I recently plugged in Phone to my TDM400P Card to test out something I mostly use sip phones to interface with *. All of sudden I'm getting lot of line static noise coming of the card is there any settings I should look at or anything I need to do on the command line at this point I'm open to any ideas I'm running 0.7.1 on Redhat 9.0 machine. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all. I bought Digium's dev kit and a used IBM PL300 PC to try it out in. The X100P works fine, but with the TDM400P I get what I can best describe as 'interrupt noise'... noise whenever I type a key on the keyboard, or when something accesses the disk drive, uses cpu, etc. In my other PC it works fine, no noise and sounds great. But I cannot dedicate the other PC to it.

Hi! I am using asterisk with two tdm400p cards. Sometimes (one call out of ten), when a call comes in and is taken, there is some terrible noise for a short time in the line (for about a second). Both partys can hear the noise. And sometimes the call has to be hung up, because the noise doesn't disappear. Has anyone any idea where the problem could be? cheers, tom

When I connect the handset directly into my PSTN, it goes away complete, so I am generating this from somewhere in my asterisk box. Ryan, from the console what does "zap show channel 1" or 2/3/4 in your case say. I have X100P's and I seem to be having similar sounding problems. I noticed that the above command shows the channel to be off-hook at all times when a phone line is plugged in. I don't know why or if it is a bug in the application reporting the status. dbc.
