Make error installing bristuff-0.2.0-rc2b
Hi list! I'm trying to install bristuff on a newly installed box. The box is running a rebuild of RedHat Enterprise linux with the latest kernel. The architecture of the box is x86_64 (Athlon 64), the os is 64 bit with 32 bit compat libs installed. Also the kernel source is installed as well as the (kernel) development tools. The bristuff install.sh script downloads asterisk+zaptel 1.0.2

How to color certain area under curve
For a given random variable rv, for instance, rv = rnorm(1000), I plot its density curve and calculate some quantiles: plot(density(rv)) P10P50P90 = = quantile(rv,probs = c(10,50,90)/100) I would like to color the area between P10 and P90 and under the curve and mark the P50 on the curve. > rv = rnorm(1000) > plot(density(rv)) > P10P50P90 = = quantile(rv,probs = c(10,50,90)/100) Could

How do I combine lists of data.frames into a single data frame?
The data.frame is constructed by one of the following functions: funweek <- function(df) if (length(df$elapsed_time) > 5) { rv = fitdist(df$elapsed_time,"exp") rv$year = df$sale_year[1] rv$sample = df$sale_week[1] rv$granularity = "week" rv } funmonth <- function(df) if (length(df$elapsed_time) > 5) { rv =

assigning vector or matrix sparsely (for use with mclapply)
Dear R wizards--- I have a wrapper on mclapply() that makes it a little easier for me to do multiprocessing. (Posting this may make life easier for other googlers.) I pass a data frame, a vector that tells me what rows should be recomputed, and the function; and I get back a vector or matrix of answers. d <- data.frame( id=1:6, val=11:16 ) loc <- c(TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,TRUE,FALSE,TRUE)

rosh patch
Hey Guys, Below is a patch for the com32/rosh/rosh.c from tonights syslinx git. The patch does the following: 1) changes the rosh_issp to use an if instead of a case for this simple test. 2) changes the rosh_dir_arg function to move the readdir() to inside the while test. This will let me go through my APUE book. Let me know if you have any questions. Keith --- rosh.orig 2009-03-05

Reading and coalescing many datafiles.
Greetings. I've got some analysis problems I'm trying to solve, the raw data for which are accumulated in a bunch of time-and-date-based files. /some/path/2005-01-02-00-00-02 etc. The best 'read all these files' method I've seen in the r-help archives comes down to for (df in my_list_of_filenames ) { dat <- rbind(dat,my_read_function(df)) } which,

[hivex][PATCH 2/8] generator: Add new return type to ABI: RLenValue
RLenValue is similar to RLenType, though with one less argument. This required adding additional conversion functions for several languages' bindings. Breaking up a vector
Hi all, My problem is as follows: I want to run a loop which calculates two values and stores them in vectors r and rv, respectively. They're calculated from some vector x with length a multiple of 7. x <- c(1:2058) I need to difference the values but it would be incorrect to difference it all in x, it has to be broken up first. I've tried the following: r <- c(1:294)*0 rv

Change log(J) to log(J+1) to stop log(0) from occurring in harModel
I think the code is part of the RTAQ package but is not included in it, as I obtained it from https://r-forge.r-project.org/scm/viewvc.php/pkg/RTAQ/R/HAR_model.R?view=markup&root=blotter&sortby=author&pathrev=1028. It is not my code and I make no claim to other's good work, and apologize if I should even be posting it I am not sure, but in the transform function it allows to

[PATCH] daemon: fix memory allocation and leaks in OCaml stubs
Use the cleanup handlers to free the structs (and list of structs) in case their OCaml->C transformation fails for any reason; use calloc() to not try to use uninitialized memory. In case of lists, avoid allocating the memory for the array if there are no elements, since the returned pointer in that case is either NULL, or a free()-only pointer; also, set the list size only after the array is

[hivex] OCaml binding error?
Hello all, I am in the process of adding a new return type for the hivex ABI, and I found what I think is an error. I'm not sure, because I don't understand the OCaml binding data structures.
