E1 signalling pridialplan
Hello,
I have a little problem with signalling. An E100p is connected to an
Alcatel PBX, wich has an E1 to the outside. Located in Germany.
zapata.conf:
switchtype=euroisdn
pridialplan=local
prilocaldialplan=local
overlapdial=yes
signalling=pri_cpe
....
With asterisk 1.0.2 I can call from a SIP phone to a phone connected
to the Alcatel and the SIP number is correctly displayed at the
caller.

pridialplan & prilocaldialplan
Hi list!
What exactly is the meaning / function of the pridialplan &
prilocaldialplan?
I've been trying to find out what the different possibilities for these
settings are but couldn't find a clear answer.
The possible parameters I could find are are :
local,unknown,dynamic,national,international
and maybe there are more?
Thanks!

Leading '0's and what do 'pri_dialplan', 'pridialplan' and 'prilocaldialplan' in zapata.conf do?
Hi all,
I've been batting my head against a brick wall for the best part of the day
and still haven't got any further (apart from getting a big headache, that
is). I've searched the Wiki and Googled the hours away, but I still can't
find supportive documentation.
I've just replaced my ISDN Fritz!/chan_capi setup with a HFC/Zap
configuration and had the following problems:

Zapata, Junghanns Card and a leading 0 on inbound calls
Hi,
I'm using a Junghanns Quadbri ISDN card on some lines from the Austrian
Telekom. Things are working, the only missing stuff is to add a "0" as a
prefix to each incoming call, to make it possible to answer missed call
lists. I'm using the 0 as the prefix for outside lines.
I've experimented a little with the prefix settings in zapata.conf, but
without success:

Does anyone know, how I can increase the timout value for the ISDN implses, so asterisk waits for the extension on the ISDN channel?

Weird Zaphfc - not dialling non-local numbers
Hi all,
I really hope that you guys can help, because I've been tearing my hair
out for the past 5 hours on this one.
I have a Zaphfc (BRI) card in TE mode connected to the S-Bus of a Nortel
Meridian phone system. Phone calls from the Nortel to say MSN 510 are
correctly being sent to the right SIP phone. When asterisk dials say

pridialplan per call or per channel group?

Is it possible to set the pridialplan (or prilocaldialplan) on a
call-by-call basis, or for a particular PRI channel-group?
>From my experimentation so far, it appears to me that the pridialplan and
prilocaldialplan are global in zapata.conf, unlike other options such as

Type Of Number setting (pridialplan) is not effective
Hello,
I have an Asterisk system in the UK using ISDN service from BT.
My problem is that the called number is always passed to the provider with the Type Of Number declared as ?national? despite pridialplan (and prilocaldialplan) is set to ?unknown?.
My questions are:
- How can I find out what the effective value is for the above two variables without actually making a call? (I have very

I have a problem setting the MSN for outgoing calls. I'm using a HFC PCI

In my zapata.conf I tried different values for pridialplan,
