[RESOLUTION] Polycom microbrowser issue Error HTTP 406 withIIS
I found this solution from the web and figured I'd share it because it
affects all phones getting input from IIS.
Map .gif, .jpg, .css etc (in my case I used .xhtml for the Polycom 601)
in IIS under your sites:
Properties -> Virtual directory tab-> Configuration -> Application
configuration -> Mappings tab.
Make ASP DLL [..\inetsrv\asp.dll] to handle these files.

Polycom push application for microbrowser
Hi,
I have been trying a (really simple) push application for the Polycom
microbrowser, using a Polycom 650 with 3.2 firmware.
I can't do anything, I always get "Push message cannot be displayed" back
from the Polycom phone, and all I am sending is the Polycom example :

SIP hardphones with xml/html/xhtml/microbrowser support?
What hardphones support xml/html/xhmtl/microbrowser? I need an inexpensive
SIP hardphone that can run simple applications (queue status, etc).
The phones I know of:
Aastra 480i, 9112i, 9133i
(though limited by 3 LCD lines on the 91xx seems kind of silly)
Cisco 79xx
Mitel 5235
Polycom IP601
Any others?

Oooo I think I am gonna poo my pants.
Using the microbrowser on a Polycom 601, I was able to get it to execute a cgi script upon selection of an item. The cgi script used Net::Telnet connect to the manager interface on another Asterisk system, call the user back at their phone and then bridge the call to the number associated with the microbrowser menu option. That's pretty schweet.

Polycom 600 phone
>From their website, the key difference between the polycom 500 and 600 phones is the number of "lines" they support. What does this mean in terms of asterisk? Do I have to have a seperate extension for each of these lines or ?
Also, slightly off-topic, how does the 500 POE "optional" cable work? Is this similar to have a power box on your desk, or is just a differently

XML Revisited
Hello Guys.
I recently contacted polycoms tech support asking if their phones supported
XML pushed information to which they replied that only model 600 had a
microbrwoser capable of reading dhtml files and such.
My question to the community is: is somebody doing any XML info push to any
brand of phones except Cisco? How are you doing it?

Polycom IP500 vs Cisco 7940
Hi Everyone,
I've been asked to determine which phones our organization should go
with. And I've narrowed it down to the Polycom IP500 or the Cisco 7940.
From my travels through google, it's hard to find a definitive
comparison of the two phones. So I thought I would ask the people that
have probably used both.

actionmailler corrupting emails
Hi All,
I have a problem with actionmailer corrupting my html emails. It is
adding the character ''3D'' before any quotes (single or double) in my
source and smattering ''='' characters throughout as well. Very

Polycom IP 500 bitmaps and Idle Display Animation
Has anyone got this to work? Under Idle Display Animation, the
administrators guide says "For example, a company logo could be
displayed"..
In the ipmid.cfg file, I enabled 'ind.idleDisplay.enabled' (ie changed
it to 1), and under the IP 500 section, I added an entry for the bitmap
that I want to display: bitmap.IP_500.66.name ="arf" but from there I'm
not sure

why does the Polycom IP600 check FTP every 60 seconds...
Hi,
I am mostly happy with my Polycom IP600 but it apparently needs to check
the FTP server every minute. I couldn't find any obvious setting related
to that behavior in the configuration files.
Any idea how to curb the IP600's spurious network activity?

How to call subset in a for loop?

I have a data frame 'myDf', in which one of the fields 'myField' can have
several possible values. To extract the observations for which it has value
"A", I can do:

Polycom IP600 - no ring?
Have a strange problem...
When a C7960 calls the Polycom ip600, the ip600's first line button
blinks, the ip600 display shows the proper callerid, but the phone does
not ring at all.
If I call the same ip600 from a bt102, the ip600 rings properly.
If I call the same ip600 from another C7960, the ip600 rings properly.
All phones and asterisk are on the same lan within a few feet.

polycom soundpoint ip 300
hello,
I try to set up two lines per ip 300 phone,
registration is ok but i get Failure to authenticate
407 for subscribe.
Anybody could help me to configure Asterisk in order
to set instant message and presence ?
I've tried with Ondo sip server it's ok !

About normality tests...
Hi all,
I have two very large samples of data (10000+ data points) and would
like to perform normality tests on it. I know that p < .05 means that
a data set is considered as not normal with any of the two tests. I am
also aware that large samples tend to lead more likely to normal
