ADSI - BT Easicom 1000
Hi Folks, If anyone is interested I now have a BT Easicom 1000 working with *. Some initial problems but they are sorted. Everything seems to work ok with the exception of the vm script. At the moment I basically have to decline the download for it to work.. The really good news is that I guess these phones aren't locked. Nice big screen and there's a pullout keyboard too :D Andy

Will this ISDN card work for me?
I'm looking for an ISDN card that will work for me using either the i4l or capi with asterisk under Linux. I'm in the US, so I need an ISDN-U interface. Can anyone tell me if this card will work for me? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14922&item=6700879965&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW There are a lot available, and for what seems to be a good price, if

I didn't see anything in the wiki about this company either.. Does anyone have any history with these phones? Thanks, Jared

Looking for FXS device - CISCO ATA 186
I was looking for something to connect a couple of POTS handsets to my asterisk server and found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=162&item=5162868118 &rd=1 The documentation says that it does SIP - therefore will it work in an asterisk environment. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. What my IAXy could have been...
Hi, methinks that in the good 3 months since i ordered an IAXy, things have changed so much that now almost anybody out there with a VoIP hardweare website offers complete phones for less money than the IAXy, with support for both IAX2 and SIP in many cases, and fully configurable via its own keypad. What would you recommend as a rugged, small, and easy to configure/use self-contained unit that

multiline IP hardphone w/ FDX speakerphone?
Could someone please recommend a reasonably priced IP phone that works well with *, has a decent (full duplex, echo canceling) speakerphone, has at least two line appearances, and can transfer / conference reliably? The Wiki lists 35 brands of hardphone, but: 1. Most seem to be toys. 2. For many, there is no info on e.g. speakerphone characteristics. 3. When one seems technically promising, e.g.

four wildcards in a single pc
Hi. Please excuse me asking this again. But it really puzzles me. We're installing asterisk at a branch office at NJ (HQ is at Petach-Tikva) It'll need to support 5 POTS lines, 11 analog extensions and four VOIP phones. I wanted to go with a T1 card from digium and a channel bank, but we have a dead line. It has to be up and running by January 1st. I don't have the time to start

very slow boot: stuck at mounting zfs filesystems
Hello list, I''m having trouble with a server holding a lot of data. After a few months of uptime, it is currently rebooting from a lockup (reason unknown so far) but it is taking hours to boot up again. The boot process is stuck at the stage where it says: mounting zfs filesystems (1/5) the machine responds to pings and keystrokes. I can see disk activity; the disk leds blink one after

IAX on netweb EEZEE phone
I'm running asterisk stable 1.0.5 and I'm trying to get the netweb eezee phone version v1.37.008 to talk IAX to asterisk. The pages I saw in the wiki maybe didn't hold my hand quite enough and the information on the eezee phone website appears to be for a different firmware version. If anyone has done this recently and has a working situation I would appreciate some useful hints

IP Phones ?
Hi guys, I know this isn't strictly about Asterisk, but it is related... I am looking to buy a few IP phones, but I don't have a huge budged (hence why I love Asterisk, its amazing and free !), so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some cheap IP Phones ? Ideally they should be no more then about ?50 ($90). Thanks, Paul.

FXO/FXS suggestions:
I'm looking for a zaptel type device with one (or more) FXO and one (or more) FXS port. Basically this guy would sit in-line of your phone line (PCI card). Any suggestions? TDM400 would be overkill. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/attachments/20050515/d66e6335/attachment.htm

Powell's unconstrained derivative-free nonlinear least squares routine, VA05AD
I have used Mike Powell's optimization routine (VA05AD) from the Harwell Subroutine Library (HSL) for more than 20 years. It is no exaggeration to say that it has helped make my career (thanks Mike). I recently learned that I am not alone in this respect - apparently it still has a loyal following in all sorts of fields! It is an exceedingly fine piece of software - fast, reliable and easy to

3 x TDM400P in one PC ??
Hi Folks, Does anybody have experiences with plugging 3 TDM400P cards in one PC?? I think about a Asterisk box handling 8 incoming analogue lines and providing 4 lines to an old analogue PBX. I read a lot about trouble with the TDM400P cards so this idea seams to be not really god, or? Ciao Joerg -- _____________________ Don't PANIC
