chan_skinny & XML Files for 7920
Hi,
I have a Cisco 7920 that I'm trying to get working with my * box. When the
phone boots it requests XMLDefault.cnf.xml and SEP<MACADDRESSHERE>.cnf. I
assume I set the line number, etc in the latter of the two. However I
cannot find any reference to how this file is structured. Anyone know?
I assume this is why I'm getting the errors below:

Citrix Web Interface requires unix and windows passwords to match.
I am running Samba 3.026a, Solaris 9 PDC. Samba uses tdbsam password
backend. Unix level accounts are NIS. I am not using password
syncing or winbind on Samba, and I have not configured the Windows
servers to use NIS through SFU or Cygwin.
The "Windows" domain includes several Windows 2000/2003 member servers
running Citrix Presentation Server (aka Metaframe.) When using the

Citrix Web Interface requires unix and windows passwords to match - never mind
I overlooked that I did have some Citrix Presentation Servers for Unix
as well- so Citrix web interface would of course try to verify my
password on those machines as well.

samba and Citrix Metaframe
Hi,
Is it possible to use samba with Citrix Metaframe to allow Unix users
running Windows applications and having access to their unix
directories?
I'd like to know if there is no problem of authentication and
permissions.
Thanks in advance
Benoit.

SV: Samba-Citrix compatability
I have searched for some FAQ/HOWTO regarding Citrix/Metaframe to no
avail. (Like this one
http://samba.org/~jht/HOWTO/Samba-HOWTO-Collection.pdf )
What I would like to see in such a FAQ/HOWTO:
- Compilation issues regarding Citrix/metaframe
- - ie the need to increase the MAX_CONNECTION setting before
compilation
- - ie how to compile samba to a 64 bit application to get more

chan_skinny core dump
Hi all:
I've got some core dumps with chan_skinny. The client is ATA186 with v2.16.1.ms ata18x (Build 030814a). The * version is CVS-10/05/03-16:03:26.
When I make a call, the phone connected with ATA rings only 1 time and * dies. Maybe I have some errores in ATA config. If someone has proven configs for ATA, please send me the details.
Thanks in advance,
Gus

Citrix reports no more connections to samba server
Hi All
I have a Win2K server with Citrix Metaframe XPe installed on the network and
uses mapped network drives to a Samba file server. The Citrix server is
locking users out of the mapped network drive on the samba server.
Citrix has 125 concurrent licences and Terminal services licences of the
same amount
Samba version is 2.2.3a Running on a Redhat 7.3 box.
Please advise if more into is

Citrix Web client
Citrix Web client lets me login to the Metaframe server, but when I try to
launch an application, I get a message that I cannot connect to the server.
I must have 128-bit SSL support installed. . . .
I'm using Firefox 1.5 as a browser and I can log into my bank, which
requires the 128 bit SSL, so somewhere between logging into the Citrix
server and trying to launch an application,

Samba and Citrix Metaframe.
Hi Folks,
I was wondering if anybody else on this list is using, or trying to use,
Samba (esp. on an IBM mainframe) as a print server in a Citrix Metaframe
environment, or are we the first? We're getting one or two odd problems...
Metaframe is creating the printers on our Samba server as "Client" printers,
rather that connecting to them direct. We can connect and print fine from

reshape command is (stats) dropping instances
I would really appreciate it if anyone could determine what is going
on with the following command. It is only half-working and is losing
lots of data. For the life of me I cannot even see the pattern of what
it is losing and what it is not.
I am attaching the R data set which you can use with the Load
Workspace menu function.

SIP Softphones and Citrix ?
Anyone aware of any SIP softphones that might virtualize well with Citrix
presentation server? I suspect I know the answer already as I have been
researching softphones that work with Cisco CallManager that can be
virtualized if you will with Citrix and have come to learn that its not
something that seems to be doable at this time. I have to assume that the
issues affecting the virtualization of

Samba 2.0.3 and NT Terminal Server SP4/MetaFrame 1.8
I'm running NT 4.0 Terminal Server (Service Pack 4) with Citrix MetaFrame
1.8 on a PC, and Samba 2.0.3 on an HP-UX box. We've been having
occasional problems with files not saving correctly, and also with files
not unzipping or copying correctly.
I suspect it's some sort of incompatibility between Samba and Terminal
Server/Metaframe and/or SP4. For

2.2.3a PDC Win2K Citrix Profiles
This weekend I upgraded SAMBA from 2.2.2 to 2.2.3a then made it the PDC on
our LAN. Original PDC was an NT4 Server. There is a Win2K Server running
Citrix Metaframe-XP, and the old NT4 PDC Server was replaced with another
Win2K
Server to be the Database Server. I didn't want to bother with setting Win2K
up as a DNS and DFS/ADS Server (required for being a PDC), so selected to
make SAMBA the

Stretch the x-axis for better alignment comparison
I have the following code that aligns the two graphs.
Problem is that in .pdf it gives me it x-axis (0-100) is broken down
into 0-20, 20-40..and so on.
I wonder if there is for it to display the x-axis (and y-axis) in more
detail than that.
I'd appreciate your input --

Loadings and scores from fastICA?
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to get the independent components and loadings from an Independent Component Analysis (ICA), as well as principal components and loadings from a Pricipal Component analysis (PCA) using the fastICA package? Or perhaps if there's another way to do ICAs in R?
Below is an example from the fastICA manual (http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/fastICA/fastICA.pdf)

RE: security=domain and Citrix MetaFrame on W2K was Windows 2000T erminal Server and Samba
Troy,
This does work in the security=domain situations (This is what I am
currently using in my smb.conf).
You do not need to do anything special for joining the doman when using the
aliases.

Independent Components Analysis
A colleague suggested that some R software was available for estimating
"Independent Components Analysis" (ICA) (... signal separation).
If so, I''d appreciate any pointers .

Use of ICA for sound
Hi,
I'm looking at the "cocktail party" classic problem.
I can see how to use ICA to separate the components. But, How do I then create new wav files of the separated sounds so that they can be played?
Thanks

PCA, Source analysis and Unmixing, environmental forensics
I am using R for environmental forensics (determination of the sources
and/or groupings in mixtures of organic chemicals in the field). The
goal is to determine in there are groups of samples with
similar/dissimilar compositions, and to assign samples to a potential
source or a mixture of sources based on the composition (unmixing and
source allocation). Typically there are 10 to 50 chemicals that
