similar to: IAX dialing indication tone (PI = 8)

Currently I am creating .wav files and then converting them via SOX to .au file format, then running them through a gsm codec convertor which all works fine except that it sounds like the recording was made with a sock in my mouth !! hi, I have an AGI running after an outgoing call file starts it up. Everything works fine except if my line has a problem. Trying to simulate this I unplug the line. So there is no dialtone. How do I detect this and let the AGI know so I can try line 2, 3, 4 etc... Detecting the the AGI or some other way is fine. I just need to know. I am using a TDM804B card at this time. Jerry

I'm trying chan_unistim-1.0.0.5e with asterisk-1.4.22 and Nortel i2002 phone. When I dial the numbers are not showing up on a display, and the is no frequency sound when pressing the numbers. Is the a way to turn the ring tone OFF during dialing? When I'm in a macro mode I have to listen to ring the tone for 20sec before macro finish and I get connected. -- Joseph

Hello all, I am using voicepulse DID's to receive calls via IAX to and asterisk IVR dial plan I have put together. The problem is after 3-5mins the system cant pickup the DTMF tones I am sending...
