What's in a number? say.c internationalization!
http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001429 We need to architect a general structure for saying numbers in voices. Say.c is broken as it is now and it needs to be changed. If we work quickly, this can be sorted out and fixed to 1.1, if not before that. There's a number of separate patches in bugs that fixes one language per patch, but no general structure. I would be perfectly

Psssst. The US is asleep - let's talk internationalization !!!
http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001485 After spending a lot of time saying numbers and dates, the Asterisk I18N project now targets voicemail. The voicemail prompts are very much based on english language syntax, which works for some languages and doesn't work for a lot of languages. Fran Boon, aka Flavour, have done an excellent job in merging patches and building a

Are there any Czech people using Rails?
Hello, how do you solve the problems with czech characters? Do you use unicode or ISO-8859-2/WIN1250? How do use methods like String:upcase etc. that dont use czech characters? I would appreciate any hints for this. Thanks, David Marko -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Asterisk Newsletter :: Back online!
Time to reboot and re-start Asterisk, well, hrrm, monthly, news. It's been a hectic fall with a lot to do, both before and after Astricon. At this time, we're preparing for two Astricon shows in 2005. And no, we haven't made a decision on where to run the European Astricon, not yet. I am preparing to travel to the USA again this coming week. Today, I'm spending my time finding

RE: Asterisk-Users digest, Vol 1 #3373 - 14 msgs
Can anybody recommend a good web interface for asterisk that actually works. I am looking for a web interface that can show how many callers are on the phone, should be able to transfer the calls and disconnect. I have tried using the flash operator but has been unsuccessful in making it work. thanks -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com

iconnect inbound - FIXED (kinda)
This appears to have been the magic bullet for me. Thank you very much. So, the bottom line is that there is a bug that ends up making inbound calls use type=peer rather than type=user.
