Hi All, I see that sparc.centos.org does not contain any ISO's so that I can install from CD. How does one install over the internet? I have never done it before. I assume use the boot.iso and make sure that I have DHCP turned on so that I get an IP automatically from my router? Any advice? -Jason

In CentOS 4.1/2, what package contains this library: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3? I installed a couple of the compat- packages, but this library is still missing.

I'm trying to kicktart a CentOS 4.3 x86_64. However, anaconda is unabled to do dhcp, complaining about"no DHCP reply received". While tailing the log on the dhcp server, I clearly see a request come in and address is offered. This same machine kicks fine with CentOS 4.1 (32-bit). Since anaconda could potentially use a different NIC (this system contains 2 NICSs), I've tried

I read that XFS has problems with 4K Stack size for Linux on 32-bit systems. How did we address this in the centosplus kernel? Since what release of CentOS was this problem resolved? Is there a quick way to know what size the Linux stack is configured to be in a system's that's running? Looking at what my best options for managing KVM via a gui. Running Centos 5.4 and have several machines and want to migrate off of vmware server 2.x. So far it appears that the management tools haven't quite cought up to Vmware but are gaining and closing. I have been looking at convirt, and others. I like what I see in Ovirt but I'm not sure it is available for centos 5.4, or is it?
