Hello, I want to use Asterisk PBX in front of my old, legacy PBX. The legacy PBX can be outfitted with caller-ID and is already able to handle Calling Party Control Signal Detection (this is a Panasonic KX-TD1232 Super Hybrid PBX. My question is how would one enable Asterisk to control the TDM400P/FXS port to provide to the /FXO CO port on the legacy PBX, support for proper answer supervision/CPC

Is anyone interested in the RPMs I have built for Mandrake 10 (kernel 2.6) of a recent CVS dump? I have source RPMs for zaptel and asterisk which should work with any 2.6 kernel version of Mandrake (including Cooker). I haven't done anything with PRI so that isn't built. Here's a possible bug, or more likely, I'm just missing something. We have a pots card in one of our asterisk boxes. Its a simple asterisk setup with one FXO/FXS card and basic static extensions file, etc. When we dial out over the pots line, 4 out of 5 times, it will work. I've setup * with TDM400P w/1 FXS, 3 FXO modules. I've one analog phone connected to TDM400P FXS module, 1 PSTN line to one of the FXO module(ZAP) , and 2 analog phones connected to Sipura 2000 (SIP). I have some agi scripts that use the manager API. They just quit working this afternoon. It seems that asterisk quit responding on port 5038. I can't even telnet to that port. (connection refused) I had been making some changes to extension.conf but that's all. I even went so far as to reboot the machine but the problem persists. Any ideas?? Malcolm Bader

Does anyone have trouble with dialing in to an Asterisk Server and having the DTMF digits recognized? We have some clients who are calling in with cell phones, notably those with SprintPCS service, who's DTMF is just never recognized. I have tried relax_dtmf on and off, with no improvement.
