( https://bugzilla.caosity.org/show_bug.cgi?id=803 ) (thanks Joshua Hirsh) 2. httpd identified itself as Apache/2.0.52 (Red Hat) Server instead of CentOS ( https://bugzilla.caosity.org/show_bug.cgi?id=806 ) (thanks

Die, KDE! Die! (Sticking with Gnome and Yum Conflicts)
Okay, I experimented with both KDE and Gnome, and decided I'd rather use Gnome. After making this decision, I wanted to remove KDE, because I like to keep my hard drive as lean as possible. I accomplished this, or so I thought, by running: # yum groupremove "KDE (K Desktop Environment)". It seemed to work. Removed a whole bunch 'o stuff. Okay, but then I wanted to install k3B,

yum quit working in CentOS 5.4 x86_64
Have been running 5.4 x86_64 for a couple of months now. Every once in a while, I would get a notice that updates were available. It appears that about 3 weeks ago, yum stopped notifying me of updates. Over that time, I've manually done a 'yum update' from a command line, with an output that there are no updates. I know this cannot be true, because I watch the 'centOS-announce

fetchmail can't talk to dovecot
Hello, I have dovecot q1.0-0_22.rc7 up and running on a server: I can read email from squirrelmail just fine. When I try to download email with fetchmail, however, I get the result below.
