Kernel panic from EXT3 filesystem
Hi All,
I'm using FC3 with 2.6.9 SMP Kernel. The root file system is EXT3 and
the volume is a XFS volume. While doing IO over a NFS v3 share, with
'watch df' running in parallel, kernel panic at SLAB memory is noticed.
When searching Internet, I also noticed that similar KP are reported at
free_block function; but could not find fix for this.
For me, this issue appears

error in NVidia driver
Hello!
I'm trying to run Sacred Underworld game in Wine, it works almost fine
(especially with latest Wine 0.9.17 where DX7 was fixed), until it crash
in libGL.so. According to attached log file, process crashes in
glTexImage2D() function.
I think this is problem in proprietary NVidia driver and post the report
on NVidia Linux forum and NVidia Linux support. Unfortunately,

[PATCH] nv50,nvc0: set vertex id base to index_bias
Fixes the piglits which check that gl_VertexID includes the base vertex
offset:
arb_draw_indirect-vertexid elements
gl-3.2-basevertex-vertexid
Note that this leaves out the original G80, for which this will continue
to fail. It could be fixed by passing a driver constbuf value in, but
that's beyond the scope of this change.

lustre+samba
Dear All,
I try to use our cluster though samba share. Everything work fine, but
I think, we should have -o flock at lustre mount time.
Great, it''s work. But when I want to save a file on the share, I get
this on the logs:

CentOS 7.6 external USB dmesg issue
I have a brand new 2T external Samsung SSD disk. (two of them) for backup.
I tried the first one and had an issue, I tried the second one and got the
same issue.
Am I doing something wrong ? I find it hard to believe the SSD (both) are
bad.
I plugged in the USB 3.1 adapter, I fdisk /dev/sdd, n, p, default, default,
w.
then mkfs.ext4 -j /dev/sdd1, then just mount and rsync.

BUG: warning at kernel/softirq.c:141
Hello ext3-users,
we have an oopsy situation here:
we have 4 machines: 3 client nodes, 1 master: the master holds a fairly
big repository of small files. The repo's current size is ~40GB
with ~1.2 M files in ~100 directories. Now, we like to rsync changes
from the master to the client nodes, which is working perfectly for 2
nodes, but our 3rd node oopses "sometimes", rendering

[PATCH 19/21] i386 Kprobes semaphore fix
IA-32 linear address translation is loads of fun.
While cleaning up the LDT code, I noticed that kprobes code was very bogus
with respect to segment handling. Many, many bugs are fixed here. I chose
to combine the three separate functions that try to do linear address
conversion into one, nice and working functions. All of the versions had
bugs.
