Core dumps when Releasing clone lock
Hi, Our Asterisk server has started core dumping more often, which seems to be related to when it releases the clone lock, and it stops masquerading the channel. So, I wondered if anyone had an idea what causes these masquerading attempts. Our system is running: Asterisk SVN-branch-1.2-r31555M. Proxy ARP working from Internet but not from fw and loc
Hello everybody. I could not find an answer to my problem in the archive. (But that may just be me :-) ) I have a problem with proxy arp and connection from loc (localnet) and from the firewall. Works fine from internet to dmz / proxy arp and vise versa. I have a feeling the solution is simple, but I''m no guru in Linux routing etc. The problem seems to be the routing setup. loc -

patch to build theora-mmx on AMD64
Hi all, I've patched theora-mmx to build on x86_64. The patch against SVN is attached. Basically all I did was to copy lib/i386 to lib/x86_64 and tweak the assembler code a bit: * added to each file: typedef unsigned long int ogg_uint64_t * converted all asm inputs to 64-bit in: dsp_mmxext.c, fdct_mmx.c, recon_mmx.c * left all asm outputs at 32-bit * I didn't patch dsp_mmx.c, since all

[Fwd: Re: Plotting log-axis with the exponential base to a plot with the default logarithm base 10]
Hello! Thank you for answering! What I am trying to do is to plot my raw values (biomass of different species) on a logaritmic y-axis with the base of e. When I type "log="y"", the axis transforms into a logaritmic axis with the base of 10. RE: Proxy ARP working from Internet butnotfromfwand loc
Hi Alex, and thanks for your time. Probably not. The servers are only configured like they where when they where parallel to the fw. Just the default gateway, same as for the external interface on the fw. That''s what the documentation instructed to configure the servers using arp. But is it required with extra configuration on the server connected via proxy arp? Or is it some parameter

Xen and iSCSI - options and questions
Hello, I have a small Xen farm of 8 dom0 servers with 64 virtual machines running para-virtualized and this has been working great. Unfortunately, I''ve hit a limit: my iSCSI hardware supports only 512 concurrent connections and so I''m pretty much at the limit. (Wish I would have seen that problem sooner!) Of course, 87% of those connections are idle-- but necessary because I

Introduction + Patch
Hi, I'm new here so an introduction. I'm Stefan de Konink, I have a diverse past, present and future in coding, content creation and a background in speech research. As introduced on #celt I want to do some promotion for the codec. I was positively surprised by the availability of something 'almost done' and totally usable in the form of celtclient.c, attached is a tiny

dump-file per source per mount
Hi ! Maybe you could find something with this line in the <mount> section of the icecast.xml file: <dump-file>/tmp/dump-example1.ogg</dump-file> But I prefer to use streamripper which can do this easily on a client side: http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/ http://packages.debian.org/unstable/sound/streamripper yomguy Stefan de Konink wrote: > On Mon, 24 Oct 2005, Jaakko

Dumpstream split based time/size
Hi, Currently I'm using a pretty dirty way to split streams. I kill the client every hour. But a more decent approach would be setting a time mask for dumpfile. Or an external event making a new file at event time. One problem i see are keyframes. The new file should split after the last 'normal frame' so the new file gets a keyframe first. What would be a proper way to do this?
