MAC OS X Panther :?
Just wondering if anyone has tried MAC OS X and panther. I will like to do SIP to H323, not sure if this will be possible on the MAC because of the Libraries PWlib and OPenh32 for Linux.. Just curious.. Anyway, anyone has an easy guide (step by step) to setup oh323 with asterisk. I saw a guide but i am not very savy on linux. thanks, Francisco ----- Original Message ----- From:

Computer can't access Sysvol
I did have a "usershares" share when I first set the domain up. This has since been removed. The strange thing is that from my PC (which was the first to be added to the domain) and from this PC (which was the second) I can still see the share (and access it from my PC). Seems like there is some caching going on somewhere. Any idea how it can be cleared? John On 30/06/2015

Computer can't access Sysvol
Hi All, I have a computer which I recently took off the domain before shipping to HP for repair. I've now had it back and re-added it to the domain and it no-longer appears to be able to access the sysvol share (even using a domain admin login). I've seen this behaviour in one other machine but as it was just a test machine I ignored the problem. When I try to access the share I

icecast-2.3.99.3
Yes. I'm running The 2.3.99.3 win32 version. And if you can to provide the " mime.types " and " crossdomain.xml " files by yourself it will be great. TNX! -----Original Message----- From: "Thomas B. Mixture of Univariate Normals
Dear list, Can anyone provide a package or code for estimating the parameters of a mixture of c (c >=2) univariate normal distributions? I've tried the algorithm provided by Venables & Ripley (1999) p 263, for the mixture of two normal, but I don't find the "ms" function in R. I've used nls instead, but I'm not sure if it works the same. The data I have is very

Aranda-Ornaz links for binary data
Hi, I would like apply different link functions from Aranda-Ordaz (1981) family to large binary dataset (n = 2000). The existing links in glm for binomial data (logit, probit, cloglog) are not adequate for my data, and I need to test some other transformations. Is it possible to do this in R? And how? Thank you for your help, /Sharon

Output and Word
Hi I have just started to have a look at R. I have used most stats software packages and can use perl, visual basic etc. I am interested in how well it handles lots of output e.g. tables or charts. How would you get lots of output most easily and quickly into a Word document? Sharon Snowdon ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - FIGHT BACK AGAINST SPAM!

problem about network in Xen!
HI, I have been stuck by this problem for the whole week. We just did a simple experiment to test the network performance in xen use the benchmark--iperf. Our NIC is Gigabit, and we got exactly correct data in hostOS--fedoral core 8 without xen running, the bandwidth of the network was 931Mbps. But the problem is, when we start guest OS--fedoral core 8, and running iperf on it, we got data only

multiple connection
It is possible to ask the development team of icecast to implement a solution for that? Something like – "if the same IP pulling the stream over X instances for X time" to kick him? I didn't pick up the data from the access file, just from the error file... About players, I can't control what the "radio index" sites are doing with my icecast streaming address, But as far as I know from my experience, the players when they getting "crazy" causing between 3-5 multiple connections for less than a 2 minutes. Not a big issue. The situation that

geoR question from new R user
Hi, I'm a new R user. My goal is to do a variogram using geoR. I started by trying to do the example in the geoR Illustrative Session using my own data. I am able to read in my Ascii data using: D <- matrix(scan("file.dat", n=530*3), 530,3, byrow=TRUE). Then I use: as.geodata(D, coords.col=1:2, data.col=3) to make the object D geodata. I check the descriptive statistics,

Rails Document must be more detailed otherwise...
In java/c++ the method signature provide a good details on which parameters the method accept, but in rails the ability to send hash as parameters make it impossible to know which parameters can be send. This ability make the rails API doc a must to be full of details and not supply partial examples of usage. When for example I see *link_to_remote*(name, options = {}, html_options = {}) I would

problems with share permissions
Hi I had a few test shares  created and they were working fine. Users could read or write depending on the windows group that was defined on the share. I have since removed the test shares and created the file structure needed and setup the smb.conf file with the share names.  I have also setup the groups and assigned them to the respective directories.  Problem is the users can connect to

multiple connection
Hi all, >From time to time my server getting multiple connection from a same listener. I don't know if it's a bug of the player, or a case of abusing. The situation is "flooding" of the server, the same listener connected to ICE in multiple instances, and using "real" bandwidth (e.g 128K x 30)! how do you handle this situation on your servers?

No Color, Brothers Printer, Samba/CUPS
Did you add that user to the "domain admins" or an other group. If an other group, did you set the SePrivileges for that group so its allowed to edit the registry. The "domain admins" group for me has all privileges. Just tried it out, and no problem here with user Administrator.
