Hello All, I was wondering if I could do the following on asterisk... Get a T1 between 2 locations, and split it into a data channel of like 1024, and use the rest for voice channels. I've some DID's that I'm using for in-bound faxing, but I'm having some trouble with getting that working perfectly on my T1. So I'm thinking of pointing them to an analog line. Will the DID's simply come in over the analog, presumably sending the DID digits via DTMF? Or is that not something that'll work? Thanks, -Ken

OK. Now I show my ignorance. What's the difference between a T-1 and a channelised T-1? I see that Covad's voip service (formerly GoBeam) requires a channelised T-1.
