capi_request: didn't find capi device with outgoing msn =
Hi, I can't make outgoing calls with CAPI (passive ISDN Fritz card). See Asterisk error below. Incoming calls and SIP to SIP calls do work. It looks like a msn mismatch in extensions.conf and capi.conf, but I can't find it. Can anyone help me find the problem? Thanks, Rob *CLI> -- Executing Dial("SIP/8112-1be9", "CAPI/356666666:BYEXTENSION") in new stack

set caller id on outgoing calls through BRI ISDN lines
I'm trying to set caller ids on outgoing calls. I have a quad BRI B410P card connected to my telephony provider. I know the list of DID numbers the provider assigned to my company. If I don't set the caller id then the callee always sees the same "top-level" number. If I set the caller id to a specific DID number we own, the callee keeps seeing the "top-level" number,

Restricting outgoing calls by extension / Multiple providers
The situation is that I want to have certain extensions that can only call nationwide and others that can make international calls (with a different provider). I suppose, you could also see this as a scenario that could involve multiple internal extensions that get matched to specific outbound trunks. I have tried to find appropriate commands in the Asterisk documentation, but could find nothing

Outgoing CallerID on PRI problems
For outgoing calls made on our PRI circuit we are setting the Caller ID using the format Exten => _9XXXXXXX,1,SetCallerID(1601XXXXXXX) The monitor shows that the CallerID is being set to the specified number, but yet when the call is received on the user end the ID is always the base number of our DID. For example we have 8600-8650 as DID's but the callerid is always 8600 regardless of

I'm playing a little around with a setup with one linux box with a e100 p card installed, which functions as an Asterisk gateway and a oh323 GK(Gnu Gatekeeper). I have two h323 phones, Welltech WellGate 1501 and 3502. So far I've managed to get the two IP phones and Asterisk connected to the GK. I can place calls from one

dovecot replication - new and cur folders on mx1 and mx2
It might have a noticeable effect on clients. I encountered (probably triggered by this in some way?) that I was unable to het the 'read' bit set in macOS Mail.app. Maybe (as I am doing HA with round robin) the Mail.app client got to one dovecot repository on one tcp connection and then on the other. Is there a reason why syncing tis move from new to cur is a bad idea? Gerben Wierda

dovecot replication - new and cur folders on mx1 and mx2
I can confirm this in a slightly different setting, but still using two-way sync between two dovecots. On e is 2.3.19.1 running on macOS Monterey, the other is 2.3.20 running in an alpine container on Ubuntu.
