Sound:Recording Overrun
Has anybody had this problem? I came in this morning and found my streamer down and this message flashing by on the console. "Sound: Recording Overrun" I'm running Icecast 1.3.11 and the source is Liveice on Redhat 7.1 if that makes a difference.
Just curious, Matt
--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage:

Sound: Recording overrun
Hello All, I've just been made aware of Asterisk and have installed it. Things seem to be working: I can dial from the console the internal numbers and hear the answerphone messages and do other interesting stuff. however when I hangup the call I see a continuous stream of messages saying "Sound: Recording overrun" appear on ALL my linux consoles and I can't see what I'm

Hardware for PBX with 4 incoming/outgoing lines and 20 phones
Hi I am interested in setting up an Asterisk PBX in my office with digium hardware, and I just have a few questions in regards to what I would need. It is my understanding that an FXO card is used to interface with an incoming/outgoing phone line, and an FXS card is used for interfacing with a phone within the system. Currently we have 4 incoming/outgoing phone lines and would like to have

Sound not working?
When I call into my system I have it set to play a bunch of different sound files (I'm doing testing right now), but when it connects there is just nothingness for about the time the sound file should take to play. A soundcard is installed on my system and working properly. Last night I would sometimes get "Sound: Record Overrun" messages when I would close asterisk down or

zaptel ppp HDLC Receiver Overrun messages
I have a pair of sites tied together with a T1 line running zaptel PPP on either end. The system works, but I keep getting these messages in the kernel logs, and users are reporting connection problems (TCP timeouts, and hangs) especially under high usage. --snip-- HDLC Receiver overrun on channel WCT1/0/1 (master=WCT1/0/1) HDLC Receiver overrun on channel WCT1/0/1 (master=WCT1/0/1) HDLC

error: prs_mem_get: reading data of size 60 would overrun buffer.
Hello everyone, we try to use a server running linux in an NT-domain and get the error message given in the subject-line. More details from the logfile and smb.conf are given below. Can anyone give us a hint what the problem is? (Of course...) The problem is very urgent for us. Thanks a lot in advance. Helmut Rickel ================= smb.conf ======================== [global]

CentOS 3.8 and ESS ES1878 sound chip?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I can't seem to be able to get any sound out of my CentOS 3.8 laptop. I have the ESS ES1878 chip in it. It can work in either native mode, or in SoundBlaster compatible mode. Neither is detected by CentOS 3.8. I've looked at the directory with kernel drivers, and there doesn't seem to be any kernel module that smells like either

Getting lowest latency sound?
I have been trying to get lowest-latency sound (with highest fidelity) to use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I have Jaunty and the latest RT kernel, which I know has problems for many applications but works fine to run DNS. (It will not, however, install the program nor train it.) I set up real-time audio access as follows: sudo su -c 'echo @audio - rtprio 99 >>

buffer under/overrun w/ off-frequency sound card clock ?
PC clocks aren't too accurate -- the two on my desk lose 25 seconds and gain 1 minute 45 seconds each day. Sound card clocks probably aren't super accurate either. How does this affect icecast? If two listeners have sound card clocks that are running at different speeds and thus one's sound is ahead of the other's, does the slower one eventually get so far behind that icecast

[LLVMdev] [Patch] Bufer overrun in getValueTypeList()
Hello, The attached patch is to add an assert to getValueTypeList() to verify that for simple value types their value is NOT between MAX_ALLOWED_VALUETYPE and LastSimpleValueType (inclusive) as this causes a buffer overrun. Thanks, Javier -----Original Message----- From: Duncan Sands [mailto:baldrick at free.fr] Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2010 5:07 AM To: Martinez, Javier E Cc: LLVM Developers
