Hi All,
How to park and pickup a call? The scenario of park and pickup
described as below.
UserA made a call to UserB, and the call ware connected,
Then UserB parked (or hold) the call, and told UserC to pickup
the call on one line, and then, UserC pressed some keys to
pickup the call.
Who can tell me what's the Park/Pickup's typical flow in
the Asterisk. And how to set the sip.conf,

Virtual PBX (*)
Hi,
I have received some replies for my previous mail (* configuration), asking
for my goals in configuring Asterisk. So here they are:
We are planning to host an Inter continental virtual PBX service that will
enable our users to register for an account which give them a toll-free # or
a DID.
Once registered using a web based interface, that user can add as manay

is to make asterisk record as many voicemails it can at a time. The design
of the program is like this:
There are two processes: One main process and a child process (No flames

IVR sample config?
Can someone point me to some reasonable example / starting point to implement
a basic IVR menu? Looking for something rather simple like the press 1 for
sales, 2 for tech support, and probably an option to list the voicemail
directory kind of thing. Nothing elaborate needed, just basic menu.
(Yes, I did look at the wiki and google searched for "ivr menu".)

plotting many line segments in different colors
I want to plot a large number of line segments, with a color
associated with each line segment (I'm actually plotting a function of
the edges of a 2d graph, and I want to use color to indicate the level
of the function.) I originally thought I could use lines, but lines
puts all its lines in one color (from help(lines), "col: color to use.
This can be vector of length greater than one,

ATA FXO
I'm looking for a reliable ATA FXO/FXS adapter.
Linksys 3102 - a lot of echo problem + two of them died within a year (not reliable)
Sangoma USBFXO - problem installing drive in Gentoo.
I've tried two Chines units: AG-188N and YGW30B
none are of them have real FXO port that will register with Asterisk.
Any other recommendations; (I don't like internal cards).

basic question about changing limits on generated plots
Is it possible to change the limits on plots that are already on the
screen? In particular, is there any R equivalent to the sequence of
matlab commands
plot(1:10,1:10)
hold on
plot(2:12,5:15)
I know I can use points and lines to add points and lines to plots,
but the limits of the plot do not change when I do this.
Looking at various examples, it seems that the answer is "no", but I

[Asus Eeebox] USB FXO adapter?
Hello
I'm contemplating building an Asterisk voice server out of the compact
Asus EeeBox:
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=24&l2=165
But they're so compact, they don't have a PCI slot to handle an analog
phone line. I'd like to minimize footpring and cables: Besides
analog/SIP boxes like Linksys (extra cables + transformer), does
someone know of a USB adapter that is
