Compiling lirc on centos 4.1
Karanbir,
I am still having problems. I grabbed the rpm and installed it. I could not get a /dev/lircd device.
I put the lirc.rules in /etc/udev/... even rebooted and still not there.
I then grabbed the src rpm, went through the normal stuff and tried to run ./configure and it tells
me I need the kernel source installed. I have the kernel source installed.
I am just selecting the default of

Had to do a second install on the remote computer (I probably did something

Problems with Ultima Online: Age of Shadows [Textbox glitch + out of memory error]
Hi all!
I was trying to run Ultima Online: Age of Shadows (latest patchlevel after
autopatch), but I have some problems.
The first problem is actually a glitch, in autopatcher, when the textbox is
moved at end, the text is hide, because it moves as first character of the
textbox the after-the-last character of the text in it.
The second is a big problem: when starting the client, it gives an

Today's log - yum entries
Hi list,
I have the following entries, below, in today's log file (for yesterday,
10th May).
I don't run the automated yum-updated and didn't run a yum update
yesterday, and no packages were installed. Obviously the entries are old.
I was wondering if anyone could offer an explanation?
Thanks,
Ned

Format of entires in data/driver.list
I want to propose to change the format of the entries in the
data/driver.list file. Currently the format is (according to the header)
# <manufacturer> <model name> <model extra> <driver>
Of these fields, the <model extra> field is not very well defined now. For
many devices, it contains information about the communication interface
used (serial / USB / SNMP) while
