Help with Webmin Module
Hello People
I''m new here, so forgive-me for any "newbie talk".
My client is running Debian Sarge (Stable), with Shorewall and Webmin. I want
to make things easier for them and tried to use the webmin-shorewall module.
The thing is - the installed shorewall is 3.0.5 (package from testing) but the
webmin module only understands (and builds) the old shorewall 2.x file

Webmin Module
I have registered a project with Sourceforge to produced a Webmin module for
Shorewall.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/webmin-shorewal/
Anyone interested in participating please email me at
enemyofthestate at users.sourceforge.net
I am still learning the interface but I think I need your Sourceforge Nym to
add you as a developer.

Being a noob having something like webmin would be pretty cool swat has sort been swatted.
In the many heads webmin would have a bigger reach than swat.
So anyway been having a go.

New Webmin 1.060 comes with Shorewall module
I just updated my webmin on my server and noticed that the module for
Shorewall looked different. It looks like someone really cleaned it up
and had it added to the Standard Webmin Module list. Woohoo.

Has anyone done a Webmin module for Xen?
I''m looking at the domain creation pains in the neck managing active or
shutdown domains, and the difficulty of monitoring Xen in a
non-commercially installed setup without having to log into the Xen server.
It strikes me that Webmin has already done a huge amount of the
necessary user management, resource management, and user interface work
for just this sort of application. Is

version 1.4.1 and Webmin module
What about Webmin Module compatbility ?
If I do not create any rule violating any of that new features, it will
work ? Or the module is unusable until someone make necessary
modifications ?

Webmin Shorewall Patch
My description of the incorrect use of the term ''SNAT'' on the Static NAT
Webmin page was apparently misunderstood. Attached is a patch against the
Webmin-1.070 Shorewall module that corrects this problem and also adds the
''DNAT-'' action for rules.
To apply the patch, you will need the ''patch'' utility:

Webmin and Redirect
I''m having problems using shorewall webmin module and Redirect rules.
Webmin module does NOT accept the symbol ! in the field "Destination
address for DNAT or REDIRECT".
So the example that comes in rule file to redirect www from local zone
to 3128 port can only be included manualy. The example suggest to
exclude the fw ip addres " !192.168.2.2 "

Changing system users pass via webmin
Hi List,
I need my users to change their passwords, so I defined them as webmin users
and gived them access only to the system/change password option to do so. So
far so good... they changed their system passwords (in order to access
email) but the change it's not reflected in samba passwords. I defined the
option change password in other modules in webmin but it doesn't works, I

Webmin module
Hi
on the download site for asterisk, there is one directory called webmin
and I presume that this contains a webmin module for Asterisk, yet this
doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere.
Is this unfinished work in progress? typically webmin modules are in
form of .wbm packages that can be installed using webmin itself, but I
couldn't find any such module in the webmin directory nor

I found a bug in Webmin when using Webmin with SELinux in Permissive
