oem x100p undefined symbol ast_get_txt
I am putting together my first *. I had it running with two other pc's
running xlite and setup voicemail and a couple of menus and submenus and had
that running well. I had order a couple of oem x100p cards from
digitnetworks.
I installed them as they said with their voicepet2.2.zip drivers and did the
modprobe on zaptel and wcfxo and then ran ztcfg -vv and got this:

Using Puppet for downgrading Varnish (circular dependency)
Hi all,
I am trying to use puppet (2.7.18) for downgrading varnish cache on Centos
Linux (6.3).
Unfortunately there are two varnish RPMs (which seem to have circular
dependencies):
varnish-3.0.4-1.el6.x86_64
varnish-libs-3.0.4-1.el6.x86_64
When using "ensure" for downgrading I get a bunch of errors:
err: /Stage[main]/Varnish/Package[varnish-libs]/ensure: change from
3.0.4-1.el6

mixing and 'downgrading' of vorbis-files
Greetings,
I was wondering some things:
For a internet radio-station (e.g. using mp3 and hopefully using ogg
soon), appart from the basic 'streaming' functionallity, there are two
things that are also important
- mixing music
- 'downgrading' a signal to a lower datarate.
Concerning 'mixing' music, it would be interesting to be able to mix two
ogg-files without the need to

downgrading packages
After the large update from 7.2 -> 7.3 there is
one major problem, the amanda backup packages.
Strange situation, the host is the amanda server
is working fine at backing up all my remote clients.
But it has an error backing up itself.
The amanda packages did not change version (3.3.3)
and I've done no configuration change.
I'm not looking for help debugging this at the moment.

downgrading to R 2.15.1-4 from sid beta 3.0.0
Hi,
I'm using sid, and this morning I carelessly upgraded R core packages,
which are currently at the beta 3.0.0 version. I hadn't read that
packages need to be re-built to be used with this beta version. I'd
happily do that locally (via 'install.packages') for those that haven't
yet been re-built in Debian, but some just don't allow that, notably
nlme which has a

downgrading from 1.2.3 to 1.1.2
Hello,
I just did a rails -v and got Rails 1.2.3. I just realized that I
had installed the wrong version of ruby on my local environment.
How easy is it to downgrade to 1.1.2? Are there any big issues I
should consider before doing this?
thanks,
Clem Rock

Downgrading from Xen 4.6 to 4.5
Dear All
I have an up to date CentOS 7 with Xen 4.6
I have noticed in some posts here and there that PCI Passthrough is not working in 4.6 for some people, but is working in 4.5
How can I downgrade to Xen 4.5 so I can test this out?
Many thanks
Francis

Music on Hold Quality
Does anyone know how to maximize music on hold quality on calls inbound
from PSTN? I know that it is common to have choppy and static sounding
music on hold when connecting via PSTN but how can that be minimized? I
assume that the bitrates, type of music, etc can minimize the effects.
Does anyone have any experience in this area? Do you know where I
should look for more information?

problems with apache downgrade
There was an upgrade on a couple of our servers yesterday, mid-afternoon
our time, of httpd and httpd-devel, and suddenly SiteMinder (bleah)
stopped working correctly, and is now pegging a cpu, according to top. So,
as a last resort, I tried downgrading both of them. When I did so, the
server that uses ssl *erased* mod-ssl, not downgrading it, and I'll have
to find where I can get the previous

Binary Packages SuSE9.0 != SLES9
Hi
I need to install a current version of samba on a server running
SuSE9.0 :-/
My Idea was to use the binary package provided at samba.org for SLES9
but I do not have the exact libraries that are needed:
libtalloc.so.1 is needed by samba-3.2.8-2.1.140
libtdb.so.1 is needed by samba-3.2.8-2.1.140
libwbclient.so.0 is needed by samba-3.2.8-2.1.140
-> these are also

yum install <olderversion> does not downgrade
We're using ansible to configure our CentOS 6 servers, and we have a
task to install a specific version of a package:
- name: install thrift2
yum: name=ripencc-thrift2-{{ version }}
In this ansible task, the "version" variable is set by the operator.
When we want to upgrade, it works. But today we had to downgrade, and
noticed that ansible wasn't downgrading it. So we tried

Downgrade libgcc & gcc packages (is there a clean way)
Hello all,
I have been tasked with "fixing" one of our CentOS boxes by somehow downgrading the libgcc and gcc packages to a specific version (Required by the Oracle Grid Control client). Normally I'd just remove and reinstall the packages however removing libgcc is no fun as I found out the hard way it breaks pretty much every package including rpm & yum. Is there an elegant way

Asterisk 1.4.20.1 with bad gsm file playback
Hi All,
I'm stumped on this and I looking for some clues to fix this.
This is a new install of Slackware 12.1 onto an IBM x330 Server.
Asterisk 1.4.20.1 plays the wav files and the Cepstral_Allison Swift just
fine, but when I play the gsm files the audio quite choppy. And, the files
produced from the MixMonitor don't even record any audio other than noise.
I have a hard drive from

[Slightly Off Topic]How to handle downgrades
Let''s say that there is a web application which comes in several
different plans. Each plan has a different number of users and content
items allowed for an account. Obviously we can allow the user to
upgrade to a higher level plan by just increasing their limits but how
do we handle downgrades? If the user is only allowed x items on the
downgraded plan and they currently have

Strange Quality problems with Asterisk, Gentoo, Redhat and Kernels - /dev/dsp
I've compiled Asterisk on Redhat 9 and Fedora Core 1 in the past,
generally without any problems. Especially w/ the stock kernel, which I
generally loathe. When I tried to upgrade my Redhat 9 Server to the
2.4.27 kernel, doing a manual/clean compile, I had massive quality
issues. I was forced to go back down to a stock 2.4.24 kernel. Never
figured out why.
Now, I've installed Gentoo
