Unable to call FWD user via IAX servers
I have set up FWD via IAX service. I have tested the IAX service with 613, echo test, and 612, saytime. It all works well. However when ringing a FWD user, I got this error all the time: Connected to Asterisk CVS-v1-0-02/01/05-09:34:45 currently running on chat (pid = 8282) chat*CLI> Verbosity is at least 3 -- Executing SetCallerID("SIP/1001-a1fb", ""David

VoicePulse Connect 4 Channel Limit?
Does anyone know what happens if you try to have 5 concurrent outgoing channels with VoicePulse Connect? Does it give you an error message or a reorder or something? I'm worried about using them as my primary carrier if this is the case. I noticed that they supposedly only allow 4 channels for free and then you have to pay $20 a month extra per channel. I'm guessing this is for inbound

I have two units at customer locations in the Caribbean registering to a server in the US. Both units are connected to the Cable TV company's internet feed. If I run mtr to the units I see clean internet and low latency, but when I watch the CLI, I see constant problems. The audio quality is terrible, but I can't see why. Our Grandstream phones say Eri and our XTen phones say Asterisk. We did a debug and I am pasting the output from both servers below. We tried setCallerId in several different ways. We see the value get passed to the

UNREACHABLE messages
I get these on a consistant basis for most of the providers I have configured. Some less than others. I even get it from my phone at home to my * box at our data center. What I'm confused about is why it always shows the ping times at right around 2000 ms. That just can't be right. It's always right at 2000 ms. Never less or more by more than 100 or so.
