zap: reroute incoming calls to dedicated channel
Hi ! I have a E100P and I would like to receive incoming calls on dedicated channels only. Is it possible to answer an incoming call request on channel 2-30 from the Telco with something like 'busy, use channel 1 instead' ? If this is possible, how could it be implemented / configured ? Segmentation fault, exit status 139, ...
Hi! I am running an * 0.7.2 on an X86 debian stable 2.4.25 (with backports.org). The HW I am using is Digium's E100P on an HP DL 380. Quite often it crashes, e.g. after a call has finished. Below some logs form the * Console as well as from the /var/log/asterisk/messages (Replaced some stuff with XXX). Any idea what there could be the reason for this segmentaion fault? What other

Bug? Asterisk crashes if SIP UA hangs up first
Hi! As reported earlier this week, I have problems with a sometimes-crashing Asterisk. In most of the cases safe_asterisk is able to restart it. But sometimes it crashes, so that manual interaction is necessary. The seg-faults and crashes occurs, right after call between a SIP Terminal and a legacy PSTN Terminal (PRI/Euro-ISDN), but only if the SIP Terminal hangs up as first. No problem, if the

PRI error (HDLC Bad FCS)
Hi, We currently have an Asterisk box (P4 2.4 Ghz, 512Mb RAM, 1 T100P, Zhone Channel Bank and 1 E100P) connected to an ISDN running without any problems. That machine is working for about 1 year. Two days ago, we decided to switch that machine for two PowerEdge 600SC (HA) and we got some problems. The running machine (P4 2.4Ghz) has an Intel motherboard with four 32-bit 3.3v PCI slots,

Fwd: Re: Disable IAX1 Registrations
Just in case anyone else is looking for this information, I'm posting the answer here. I do need to double check if this works with asterisk >= 0.9.0. I've heard rumors that IAX1 support has been removed in newer versions. ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Disable IAX1 Registrations Date: Thursday 17 June 2004 04:43 pm From: "Chris A.

Disable IAX1 Registrations
I was just noticing that my asterisk box is trying to register with my providers on both IAX1 and IAX2. They do register on IAX2, but it seems like it keeps trying to register with IAX1 also. Is there a way to disable this behavior, or am I just misunderstanding it. I just want to make sure I'm not wasting processor time and bandwidth trying to register IAX1 when it is already

Bugfix for CVS-HEAD-06/26/04-21:56:45
Hiya, I sent this bugfix to the asterisk-dev mailing list, and modified it as I noticed side effects, but now it appears to be finished. Nobody seemed to notice it there, so I thought I'd post here, as it seems to be something that will be needed as people update to the latest CVS version. So...read on :) Ted programmer_ted@hotmail.com P.S. Read to the very end. The original bugfix

Turning off Bridging?
Hi folks Is it possible to turn off the native bridging on Asterisk? I've been hacking about app_disa.c to support account & pin numbers, that tag the calls depending on who logs in..... It all works fine, then dials the destination number they requested. My setup is as follows [ENDPOINT] <IAX1> [MYASTERISKBOX] < IAX1 > [TELCOBOX]<>(PSTN) If i dial

IAX1 vs IAX2 for IAXtel
G'day list, I am getting a lot[1] of traffic on my Internet link, ICMP messages from 69.73.19.178 telling me UDP port 5036 is unreachable (this IP address belongs to iaxtel.org). I see from the wiki that IAXtel supports only IAX2 from December 2003. Fine, however it looks like my * still wants to try and register using IAX1, and I can't find how to turn this off. This situation is

Possible solution to Zaptel panics
Heya Mark (and others), Here's an update on my adventures while trying to debug the Zaptel-related panics, as discussed on this list a while back. While debugging the problem, I completely swapped the machine for an entirely different model (Supermicro dual Xeon 2.4GHz with 2Gb of RAM), put the cards in, recompiled * + Zaptel and administered my stress-test. The machine stayed up in excess

T100P-E100P circuit board differences
Hi- Perhaps someone with an E100P in hand can answer this: I just received an E100P from Digium (I normally buy quad boards) I noticed that the circuit board says "T100P" on it, and I assume that the T100P and E100P both use the same circuit board. Can someone please confirm that their E100P says "T100P" on the artwork? Thanks Scott Scott M. Stingel Emerging Voice

Suggestions for debugging an IAX1 one way audio problem
Hi, I occasionally experience a one way audio problem when using the IAX1 protocol with a service provider. If I call a DID number in by group provided by the supplier which is redirected to my box, I only get the audio path back from my box to the phone I used to dial the DID number. If I use IAX debug, or tcpdump I only see packets going from my box to the provider when the one way audio

xrandr HDMI-1 and DVI-D-1 disconnected - External monitor not detected
The important thing for display detection/setting proper modes/etc is the kernel -- what kernel version are you using? Separately, there has been a fix that affected VBIOSes found in NV96 cards, and it would not be a stretch to believe that a similar VBIOS script could be found in a NV92 card. However the NV96 error condition was different (everything detected fine, but no actual image displayed,

Help - Received response: "Forbidden" from'"Unknown"
I did a NoOp and see what the callerid was and when coming from the SIP Ext->Voip it is set to the Extension Number of the SIP Extension (as you would expect). When coming from the Panasonic the CallerID is blank, I tried setting it to nothing again, and I tried setting it to the callerid of the voip provider, a sip extension id, the extension number on the Panasonic side, the zap channel
