H323 - SIP Interoperability
Hi there, I would like to communicate H323 IP phones with SIP phones. My H323 phones are registered to a gnugk GK, and the SIP phones are registered to a asterisk SIP proxy. I could not create a dialplan that works. Inside my extensions.conf file I created the following two entrances: exten => 4,1,Dial(SIP/4) exten => 5,1,Dial(SIP/5) This allows SIP phones call each other.

meetme application
Hi there, I know this question is kind of stupid. But, I don't know anywhere else to ask. I've received some answers when I asked about the need of having a zaptel interface to make the meetme application work, that said that it was better to have a real hardware then the zaptelrtc software modules. So, my question is, would any of the following cards work with the meetme

[success] VB3 Program "Watchtower Library" now works
Hi! Some time ago I wrote about two problems, which I encountered when trying to run a VB3 program with Wine. The program is called "Watchtower Library". The search function crashed. With debugging and disassembling of a .vbx I later found out that the program itself was bailing out and not wine. But I had no idea how to remedy the problem. The tooltips (in the program called

Is there a "connect acl" ?
Hi, I have been reading the acl documentation and it seems that a "connect acl" is not available. I need to limit the users that can login in an IP number, is that posible with dovecot 1.0? (i.e. only these users can login from the Internet) Or a new plugin should be written? It is complicated to do that? Thanks Oliver -- Oliver Schulze L. | http://tinymailto.com/oliver Asuncion

Diablo 2
Hello, I have wine version 20031016 and I was so pleased that wine + diablo 2 LOD 1.10 + Battle.net actually worked !! But now when I want to enter battle.net (or any game that is) with the true game.exe (i.e. not the cracked one) the game gives me a segfault. I've tried --debugmsg +all but that didn't give me much to work with :/ Does anyone know what went wrong ?? It plays just

Writable Centos LiveCD on Embeded Linux?
Hi all, I was wondering if it possible to have a Centos LiveCD installation boot from a Compact Flash in a embeded x86 (Wrap/Alix) platform *and* be able to save the changes made to the File System back to the Flash memory. So, the next time the LiveCD boots it will have all the changes made. The problem I'm trying yo solve is: - fast boot time - fast recovery when the Linux is shutdown

sendmail + dovecot + vpopmail + virtual users, problem with pop3 uidl
Hi, I just migrated a server running qmail+vpopmail+maildir to sendmail+dovecot+maildir+vpopmail The migrating is working great thanks to the help from the list and the wiki. I'm now running the infamous problem about duplicating emails, because of pop3 UIDL mismatch. My question is: anyone knows that the pop3_uidl_format string for a vpopmail server? I'm using vpopmail auth and

Restoring a deleted/moved imap folder
Hi, one user of my imap server just deleted a whole folder, blame thunderbird I have the server disk and running Stellar Info for deleted files recovery. My cuestion is about how dovecot deleted an imap Maildir folder? The imap client is configured to move the deleted mails to the Trash folder, so I think dovecot would delete every Maildir email after successfully moved it. In the case a

Large Roaming profiles
Hi, I have large size Roaming profiles in Win2k and Samba. Samba 2.2.2 is acting as a PDC. Does Win2k load all the files from scratch from the samba server everytime a user log in? Or does Win2k or Samba provides some sort of diff mecanism, so that only modified files are loaded from the Samba server(to speed think up)? Well, [un]fortunately it is broken with again with the wine-010510 tar ball. (Thank you, Kin Lau for pointing this out to me by e-mail.) Description: The main program window of WTLIB99 is just a small bar with buttons and a menu on top of the buttons.

Disconnected network drive
I have a couple of Linux directories that are being exported via Samba running under SuSE 10.0. On the Windows side, each of them is assigned a (mapped) drive letter. In the "My Computer" list they initially show up as "Disconnected Network Drive". If I attempt to access a file within one of them, the access fails with an indication that the drive does not exist.
