How to let ZAPHFC work with and act on different incoming MSNs?
Hi all, I'm struggling some time now with this problem. Googling and searching on this topic did not deliver the answer yet, so my last hope is this list. Analogue to the things which are possible with modem.conf, where I can configure the MSN's to act on, I would like to have similar functionality. This is the idea: I have 1 ISDN line, it can be reached by 4 different MSN's. I have

Help on chan_misdn and MSN's
Quick question: Is there a way to distinguish between calling MSN's when using chan_misdn? More info: I've got my ISDN2 (EuroISDN) up and running here in Romania with 1 base number plus 5 MSN's. Now I want to my * to do different things when receiving a call on from different MSN's (like forwarding the call to my FAX machine or forwarding the call to my mobile). The obvious way

Playing around MSNs
Let's say I have 3 IP phones (A, B, C) and 3 MSNs (1, 2, 3). How can I define that the incoming MSN 1 is redirected to A, 2 to B and 3 to C ? And how can I define that the A phone uses the outgoing MSN 1, etc ? Actually, I'm using the CAPI channel driver, but any help is welcome. MSNs don't work for me... :(
Hi, My * server is running FreeBSD. The wonderful isdn4bsd with chan_capi port by hselaski works great, everything is perfect in a perfect world... but ! These [@$!#] MSNs don't work at all ! My extensions.conf is very simple for my 5 MSNs (0353, 0416, 0618, 0619 and 0620) : [rnis-in] exten => 0353,1,Answer() exten => 0353,2,Dial(SIP/600,,m) exten => 0353,3,Hangup exten =>

ISDN (point to point) questions
Hello; we are looking to replace our current PBX with a *-box; it is connected to ONE ppp isdn connection that is terminated by the NC. We got on this box 4 msn's configured. currently we are working with pstn fxo's behind the PBX; it works but we can't use the CSID information behind it. We want to migrate and keep the MSN's to decide routing in combination with the CID.

Capi Deflection (CD) not working
I did the following: - chan_capi-0.3.5/Makefile: uncommented CFLAGS+=-DDEFLECT_ON_CIRCUITBUSY - recompile asterisk + chan_capi - added /etc/asterisk/capi.conf: deflect=0800123456 ; some 0800 test number - in etc/asterisk/extensions.conf under [tcom-in]: exten => 98765,1,capiCD(0800123456) - made both b channels busy by outcalling on both lines (ISND BRI) - called my msn (98765) by mobile

SipTone II and Choppy/Stuttering Audio
Hi All, * is running a dream now, however we have an odd problem that I am sure some guru will be able to sort out for me in no time!! When receiving or making a call about 60 seconds or so into the call we develop choppy/stutter audio problems. It then seems to clear itself only to return again, and so the pattern carries on! This has got me stumped! Our equipment is SipTone II handsets, AVM

Multiple ISDN controllers & Capi
Hi, how can I set up multiple ISDN controllers with chan_capi, so that every controller has its own configuration (MSNs to listen etc...) ? I know I can configure "controllers=1,2" in chan_capi's capi.conf but then the controllers have the identical configuration and context within asterisk. My setup: I have 2 BRI-controllers (in one AVM C2). 1. BRI: point-to-point, Number:

Advice on BT ISDN Services (UK)
Hi all, I've been playing about with Asterisk for years now on and off, just SIP to SIP calls, using FWD and suchlike. I'm moving house at the beginning of September and have decided to build an Asterisk based system for my home office. I'm in the UK and wonder if anyone can give me advice on lines and hardware to use. Had planned to go with an ISDN2e line coupled with a BT

Call forwarding and Caller ID
Hi All, * is working very well for us now. But I have an issue that I cannot find the answer to - enter guru's!! When our receptionist does a blind call forward I receive the Caller ID, however I do not know if the call is fresh (i.e. ringing in) or forwarded. What I would like to do is to have * prefix the CID External (so that I can tell that it is a fresh call) or Internal (to tell me

Dialplan Q: Dialing with Capi
Hello, I'm using asterisk 1.0.7. with a somewhat advanced setup with IAX and CAPI as channels. A call comes in via IAX2 and should be redirected to CAPI. So I wrote the following dialplan: [fromiax] exten => _8XXX,1,Answer exten => _8XXX,2,Dial(CAPI/265:B${EXTEN:1},,r) [fromcapi] exten => 265,1,Answer exten => 265,2,Dial(IAX2/PoC/11@from-lw) exten => 265-BUSY,1,Busy exten

AVM C4, asterisk-1.0.8, /etc/asterisk/capi.conf
Has anyone a working /etc/asterisk/capi.conf example for Germany or Switzerland using the AVM C4 - ISDN Card. I try to connect asterisk to 3 wires BRI-ISDN (Swisscom). I appreciate your help and it would save me a lot of time, figuring it out by myself. regards, Claudio

chan_cap-cm-0.6 deflect support
Hi, I've recently reinstalled a Diva in my asterisk server (alongside a QuadBRI :-) to test the nice features Armin has been adding in chan_capi. The capi.conf format has changed, so my question is how do I define a deflect= statement for different incoming MSN's? I've tried to define a section for each (group of) MSN with a different "deflect". Is that correct? [DIVA1]

MSN selection when dialout ISDN (ttyI* modem -interface, NOT CAPI)
Hello! How can one select outgoing MSN when dialing out from ttyI-interfaces? I have successfully done this with CAPI e.g... exten => _XXXXX.,2,Dial,CAPI/60:bBYEXTENSION ...in extensions.conf. Currently correponding for my ISDN modem interface is... exten => _XXXXX.,2,Dial(Modem/g1:${EXTEN}) ...but this selects only MSN of outgoing group g1 for dialout MSN number. I also tried to

Asterisk & Fritz & Capi & isdn PBX integration : Can I dial out on any MSN I declare ?
Hi, I'm integrating Asterisk to legacy PBX via ISDN router. If I want to call legacy PBX internal extension I need to specify MSN as caller id and local number to call. I wonder if I can cal out via Fritz & CAPI on any msn I want, or are there any limitations - I've read something about 5 MSNs limitation and wonder if it still holds ? Thanks in advance, regards, Rob.
