Digium vs. Sangoma: Performance
Hello, Several people asked to get a hold of the stats I used to determine that the Sangoma T1/E1 boards performed better in our real-world tests than the Digium boards. We've decided to post our results after confirming them over the past month of operations. Here is a link to the last two reviews I wrote about Sangoma with Asterisk:

astguiclient: blank php pages
Hi, I just installed astguiclient, following the SCRATCH_INSTALL, without errors. But when I try to enter the administration page (http://127.0.0.1/astguiclient/ admin.php), it's blank. The browser shows me the following page source: <html><body></body></html> The same happens with http://127.0.0.1/astguiclient/welcome.php What could be wrong? Thanks!

Apache + SSL: default configuration rated "C" by Qualys Labs
Hi, I'm currently experimenting with a public server running CentOS 7. I have half a dozen production servers all running Slackware Linux, and I intend to progressively migrate them to CentOS, for a host of reasons (support cycle, package availability, SELinux, etc.) But before doing that, I have to figure out a few things that work differently under CentOS. Apache and SSL behave quite

Apache, MySQL, and PHP
Hi, I need to ask a question about the usuage of these particular packages...do you install the binaries for each or do you use what comes with the OS out of the box??? The reason why I am asking is because I am having problems using the one that comes with the OS. Everything else runs great but I am using CentOS for the first time and I want to make sure that I am not spinning my wheels

Centos 5.6 : Apache bug fix = PHP Exec no longer works
A few days ago I upgraded from the Centos 5 CR repository software including Apache. The Apache on my development server is: Apache/2.2.3 Aug 31 2011 20:18:21 httpd.x86_64 0:2.2.3-53.el5.centos.1 A previously working PHP Exec(...) command on a web page no longer works. Apache and PHP
Sorry for the newbee setup questions, but... Should PHP be already setup with apache on the centos server install?? It's just that I can't get PHP working at all. It's 100% me, I just don't have enough experience. There is already a PHP.ini file, if I add any php modules in apache conf and run httpd -S is says it's already running a php module. I am using vhosts. I did

Apache User Isolation/Perchild, or PHP "chroot"?
Has anyone set up any form of apache user isolation on CentOS? I have multiple virtual hosts on my machine, run by users who do not trust eachother. The problem is that any php script run by apache is able to do things like raw file io on other users' .htpasswds, php scripts, hidden directory listings, and so on. Database passwords can even be divulged in this way, since they are often stored
