PBX Functionality How-to
Hello,
I had a partner of mine present a Centrex 21 brochure and ask how many of
those features can I fulfill. There is nothing out of the ordinary, it's
stuff like call hold, call forward, 3-way calling, etc. Has anyone
assembled a how-to that shows how to configure PBX or Centrex type
functionality? I found one in the voip-info wiki but only a couple of
topics were filled out.

H323 ID's
Hello,
Is there any way to pass an H323 ID (resembles a sip user@blahblah) to an
h323 gateway? Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

Echo and Call Setup suggestions

Hello,
I'm running a bone stock * box that only has SIP clients and about a dozen
cisco T1 gateways. Some of the higher delay users complain that they
occasionally hear echo on local and long distance calls, which eliminate the
gateways as the source of the problem.
Problem #2 is that it takes a long

sipura fade to static
Hello,
One of the Sipura 2k's I'm using has a dialtone that occasionally fades to
static when the user picks up the line. Are there any settings that I can
check that would affect this?

Sipura 2000 behind NAT issue, Vonage is working
Hi,
I'm trying to configure Sipura 2000 (behind NAT) which connects to
Asterisk (public IP, no NAT) and having interesting results. When Sipura
is behind Linux/NAT firewall it works great and no special NAT settings
on Sipura are necessary. The issue I'm having is when Sipura is behind
Linksys broadband NAT router. Sipura gets registered with Asterisk just
fine, but I can't hear

Should a Linksys Sipura 2102 be configured with nat=yes even if it is on the local network?
Should a Linksys Sipura 2102 be configured with nat=yes even if it is on
the local network?
I have been having some troubles with a Linksys Sipura 2100 series, which
suffers from NO AUDIO after a few calls.. Because it is on the same subnet
as Asterisk it is configured with nat=no. When you think of it because the
Sipura 2100 is a broadband router, the voice part may be considered as

[LLVMdev] load bytecode from string for jiting problem
Hello Willy,
Here is the dump from one of my bitcode files:
0000000 42 43 c0 de 21 0c 00 00 25 05 00 00 0b 82 20 00
As expected, 0x42 (= B), 0x43 (= C), xc0 and 0xde are in correct order. In
your case, the first byte is read as 37 (= 0x25). I wonder why? When you
check the bytes yourself, you get expected results. When the same bytes are
read from Stream object, you get a different result (maybe

What would you tell the CIO in an "ABCs of Email" overview?
One of the key points that came up when I researched and wrote the
"Five Things CIOs Should Know about Fighting Spam" article (http://
www.cio.com/article/28830) was that they should know the basics of
how email works. Otherwise, said plenty of techies, the CIO won't
have the first idea of what the email admin is complaining about.
So I'm going to do my part. I'm

I would not need to apply optimisations on the parts of the program in
the object file. These are meant to be optimised beforehand. The only
parts I want to run passes on are specific function that I know

Sipura 2000 not answering em_w calls
I recently purchased a Sipura 2000 and connected a phone to it which is
connected to my asterisk box via sip.
Calls to the Sipura 2000 work fine from another sip device connected
through *, from either an fxo or fxs (via adtran channel bank connected
to a T400P card) port. However, when a call comes in from the phone
company over a T1 with em_w trunks, the phone on the Sipura will ring
but I
