I'm trying to use Samba 2.2.3a on RedHat 7.2 for a PDC and can't get
Win2k to even acknowledge that the domain exists. I am attaching my

list proposal
With the increased traffic as of late, I'm wondering if it is time to
split the list again. Specifically I am wondering if it should be split
along the various VoIP protocols and zap hardware, then leave a general
list that does configuration other than VoIP related?
The hope is that those asking SIP or H323 questions could get help from
the various supporters while the main list can deal

Adding a AD Group to a Unix user account
Hi Guys,
First of all I can do the following:
"usermod -g GID bobby" and it adds the group to the user account fine
(GID being the actual number value not the name).
but if i don't use -g it fails to work, I want to ADD the group "Domain
Users" to "bobbys" account, so I tried:
"usermod -a -G GID bobby" but it doesnt not appear to do anything...

read.csv.sql() to select from a large csv file
Dear list,
Dear list,
I am using read.csv.sql() from the sqldf package to read
individual-based data from a csv file that is too large for R.
My original file contains a column called “ID” that
identifies the individual. I would like to read in data for only
one individual at a
time, for example "Bobby".
read.csv.sql("filename",sql = 'select * from file where ID =

server push?
Has anyone done much work with server-side push and AJAX/J? (XML or JSON)
As best I can tell, the ideal solution to this would be
the multipart/x-mixed-replace MIME type. Mozilla''s XMLHttpRequest now has
support for this, so this is on people''s minds, but how to make it work on
the server end?
You have to keep a connection open.....and a process on the server to go
with it.

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Linux support for compiler-rt's BlocksRuntime
I've reattached the patch to runtime.c, this time as output from svn
instead of git. As the original git commit noted, it does the
following:
define OSAtomicCompareAndSwap(Long|Int) for non-Mac/Win32 systems
if neither TARGET_OS_MAC or TARGET_OS_WINDOWS are defined, check to
see if GCC atomic built-ins are available (and use them if they are).

How to read or write Geolocation (RFC6442) data in SIP/PJSIP messages ?
Hello,
I'm having a look at section 13.1 from SIP Connect v2 doc (see [1]).
It refers to RFC6442 which gives the following example (sorry for its
length):

Via: SIPS/2.0/TLS pc33.atlanta.example.com;branch=z9hG4bK74bf9

User and GRoup mapping
I have two servers running Samba, one as a Domain Controller one as a
Member Server. Both are running Ubuntu 8.10 and running smbd, nmbd and
winbindd using the tdb back end.
I am having a problem understanding ID mapping. The mapping is not the
same on both machines.

Function Value Not Being Overwritten?
Part of my problem is that I am in the middle of starting to use functions, so this was unexpected behavior for me.? Maybe there is a work-around because I like declaring some of the variables prior to using them.??
I have two separate files:
# File: Test.R
dog<-function(x)
{
??? templeton<-NULL
??? source("Cat.R")
??? print(templeton)
??? print(x)
???
??? print(bobby)
}

Help! - Unintelligible prompts and music
I have set up a couple of test Asterisk servers and have never had a problem
with sound.
I've just done a fresh install on a dual 1GHZ PIII Asus box running Fedora
Core3 with the Digium PCI Dev kit and following all the various Core 3
How-To's. I can make calls ok but when any sound is sent from the Asterisk
box such as voice prompts and music on hold the sound is completely chopped

That is pretty old. Chances are that this problem is already solved in a
more recent release.

OK, good.
What is your current version and configuration (output from `dovecot -n`)
Anything interesting in the logs? Any idea which deliveries are causing
this? Can you obtain an LMTP protocol log for such deliveries?

Stephan.

Accurate Billing
<P>hi everyone,</P>
<P>I know this issue has been raised many times before, i think still the problem remains. When a call is made through a Zap channel, whether it is actually made or not (irrespective of whether, engaged, busy, or actually answered), asterisk logs it in CDRs as a call made. This makes it impossible to do an accurate billing. Has anybody found a way to overcome

VoIP Gateway Performance
Supposed scenario: one PC(2GHz CPU), one card 4E1, and one Internet link.
There is somebody he know (has experienced) how many concurrent call (Classical Phone->Voip) can handle Asterisk ?
Thanks !
