Hi, I have a Cisco 7920 that I'm trying to get working with my * box. When the phone boots it requests XMLDefault.cnf.xml and SEP<MACADDRESSHERE>.cnf. I assume I set the line number, etc in the latter of the two. However I cannot find any reference to how this file is structured. Anyone know? I haven't seen anybody so far post a complex fix for the udev problems on FC3 with the latest kernel. On that note, I have a temporary fix to allow zaptel to load somewhat normally. I found that modifying the zaptel script to 1) load, unload, then load the driver modules and 2) insert a pause between modules seems to allow things to work. Hi, as noone out there seems to be able to maintain chan_sccp, i'm trying to switch to chan_skinny. With the newest 1.4 svn the Softkeys are mostly wrong/non functional. I see Redial NewCall CFwdAll more (more) CFwdBu... GPickUp Confrn more NewCall works, CFwdAll seems to toggle DnD, the rest of the buttons do notting. Any ideas how to fix this? Regards, Andreas

I grabbed the 7920 tarball available from the sourceforge site dated sometime in Oct. I've got my 7920 working, however, asterisk seems to stop talking to it sometimes and requires a restart (like kill asterisk completely and restart it). Does anyone know if a new version is on the way? Does the current CVS fix this? Otherwise, the phone works great. Battery life sucks though. :(

Hi again, I found chan_skinny and that seems to work pretty good. the SCCP one filled out all the buttons really nice, but skinny seems to be working. How do I fill out the second line button on the phone with skinny.conf? Thanks much! ...Jeff
