MeetMe Features
Hi all,
I had a chance to use some call conferences that had some very neat
functionalities:
- When you call you are first asked for your name
- When someone joins the conference a message "<name> is now joining the
conference." is played.
- When someone leaves the room a message "<name> has left to conference." is
played.
How can I set MeetMe/Asterisk to have

It seems like when i have more than 40-45 users on the system at the same

MeetMe questions
I'm looking into deploying * for an internal conference call server (using
MeetMe) and had a couple of quick questions for those of you who have used
it. I checked the Wiki but there weren't a lot of details for MeetMe.
- Can you limit the size of a conference "room", ie max 8 people, etc.
- Is there a list somewhere (besides the source ;) that has all the commands

CDRs, Conferencing, and MeetMe
We are developing an on-demand teleconferencing solution. We will be
billing per-minute/per-user.
I've successfully gotten Asterisk to write CDR data to a postgres database,
but with the way I've got things setup right now the CDR does not have the
dialed conference number. We need this information in order to be able to
bill.
As teleconferencing is the only application of the

meetme config
Hi,
Is there and trick to getting a conference room up and running..
I have 'conf => 7500' in the meetme.conf file and 'exten => 7500,1,MeetMe(7500)' in the extensions.conf file (in the same context as my phone extensions)..
When I dial extension 7500 I get the voice saying "That is not a valid conference number, Please try again.." <beep> <beep>

asterisk 1.8.10.1 meetme
Hello,
I'm running Asterisk 1.8.10 on Linux box, when I'm in a conference(meetme)
with another person, and a third person join our conference when the third
person leave the conference I get disconnected from the original conference
with a second party. I hope this clear.
This does not happen often, is random, anybody experience something
similar? or any idea how to fix this problem?

meetme with review of the entered conference number
Hi there,
I'm using asterisk meetme function like:
exten => 9070,n,MeetMe(|dcM)
and everything works pretty well. But I would like to add a review of
the entered conference number before the user jumps into the conference.
Somthing like:
*:"Please enter the conference number followed by the hash key" (works)
U: 123456# (works)
*: "You are entering conference number

meetme conference latency degrades...
We have recently started making more frequent use of the meetme
conference of our * system.
We are using v1.0.8 with a 2.6.11 kernel on our system.
We generally have 4 callers in it: two with the gsm codec and 2 with g729.
Initially, the conference works fine and there is little latency. After
about 15min., though, the latency is very noticable and by 25min it's
unbearable.
If we all leave

Meetme question
Ok.. I got * and SIP working internally now .. still wrestling with
connecting two remote * pbx's together.. I'll save that for another
day though :)
I setup Meetme on this new * PBX, but when I try to dial to join the
conference,
I hear a recording saying the conference is invalid or something to
that effect. Here's a copy of my log files:

Using meetme like call
hi all, I have a little question about meetme in Asterisk.
One of my client ask me that all call can, if is necessary, become
conference for 3-4 user during conversation.
I think that are 2 way for make this:
1- all call (instead if the users are only 2) are conference
2- using n-way call
(http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+n-way+call+HOWTO)
I decide to implement the first way because

howto set up persistent dynamic meetme
With 1.6.1, I'm trying to set up a test of meetme for creating dynamic
conferences.
extensions.conf:
[meetme]
exten => 2663,1,MeetMe(,De)
exten => 2663,n,Hangup()
exten => 2666,1,MeetMe()
exten => 2666,n,Hangup()
What I'm expecting is to dial 2663, get a conference room number ( 600,
I suppose since it's the only room ), and set a PIN. Hangup.
Then users would dial

Meetme with moderator
All,
I have been beating my head against a wall trying to figure out how I would
implement a separate moderator code and participant code for the same
conference using meetme, the deal is I dont want the participants to be able
to join until the moderator is in the conference.
Is it possible to do this using the apps as they are , or is their a way to
use an Agi script, is that the only way?

Call someone to instantly join conference using MeetMe
Hi,
I was just wondering how would the application be where the Asterisk calls a
number and that number joins the conference as soon as the call connects.
There would be only one conference already defined in meetme.conf and there
is one person already joined the conference. Currently MeetMe requires a
person dialing into it and the joining the conference. How could this be
done using MeetMe or

meetme - conf-invalid
Hi Peoples
I am having problems with meetme, in that it responds with "conf-invalid"
when I dial a conference number.
I notice that there is a note with regards to ztdummy, and the need for that
to be loaded. Is this still the case?
Is meetme dependent on this module? I do NOT use zaptel cards in my system,
and there for zaptel is not loading.
Can anyone shed some light

Dynamic meetme conference creation with Authenticate (Asterisk 1.4.0)
I'm trying to use the password entered with Authenticate to create dynamic
meetme conferences with the following dial plan:
exten => _XXXXXXXXXX18467,1,Authenticate(/etc/asterisk/meetme.pw|a)
exten => _XXXXXXXXXX18467,n,MeetMe(CDR(accountcode)) ; 281-8467
However CDR(accountcode) is always being set to 1022 no matter what password
is used. The passwords are stored in a file so they can

No data when recording a Meetme conference with Monitor
I'm trying to record a Meetme conference to disk, but the Monitor application
doesn't seem to play nicely with Meetme. In extensions.conf, I have this:
exten => 1000,1,Answer
exten => 1000,2,Monitor
exten => 1000,3,Meetme
This starts up the monitoring OK, and it records the prompts that Meetme
gives, but as soon as the user enters the conference, the -out WAV file stops
