modprobe ztdummy failed
Hello-
I've been trying to scour both * and linux user group
archives for a solution to this particular problem, but I am
just plan stuck. I got the latest zaptel sources from cvs,
uncommented ztdummy.o in Makefile, ran make; make install
then, did depmod -a. All is well up until now.
When i do modprobe ztdummy, i get this error:
dv@sidetrack:/usr/local/src/zaptel# depmod -a

Compiling zaptel
I take it you are running RedHat 8 (or 9) since this is the most up-to-date kernel. Did you install the kernel-sources and kernel-util rpms as well? You'll need these in order to compile and install zaptel.

Cant compile asterisk #error "You need newer libpri"
Trying to compile asterisk (again) from scratch.
I seem to be still experiencing the effects fro Jan 25 where I get no sip
to sip audio.
I have tried upgrading to 1.2.3 which has made no change in the
problem.
I am starting over and now trying to compile/install /trunk
zaptel
libpri
asterisk
following the instructions to grab the source trees:
# svn checkout

RV: Not working!
You where SOO right.
My idea is to connect the "line" to my pbx and call from internet
(h323?) to my linux box, and then dial an extension.. Is there any doc
there? Cause Ive read a few and I did not get much really. I should
configure asterisk now and the job is done?

Zaptel won't compile under Fedora Core 4
I hope someone can offer me some help with this. Basically, the current CVS
version of Zaptel will not compile under Fedora Core 4. I have closely
followed the directions in
http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+Fedora+Core+3 using
the versions given in the FC4 distro with no luck. Here's the output when I
run "make linux26". Any help would be great. TIA.

Problems compiling zaptel
Hi All,
At the suggestion of Tilghman I'm trying to compile the zaptel dummy driver to
see if it fixes the stuttering mp3 problem.
I checked out zaptel from CVS but when I try to do a 'make' I get the
following output, which terminates with an error. (I'm using RedHat 9)
Can anyone suggest why it fails to compile?
cc -I. -O4 -g -Wall -DBUILDING_TONEZONE -DSTANDALONE_ZAPATA

colinux fresh install, zaptel does not compile, size_t error
Hi,
I followed the instructions on http://www.asterisk.org/index.php?menu=download.
I picked the latest version using CVS.
Things went fine until I cd zaptel ; make clean ; make install.
I then get an error when compiling zaptel.c
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/kernel.h:75: error: parse error before "size_t"
This happens very early on and I suspect that it is actually an
issue with the
