RE: current version
To be clear I meant using Chan)_h323 with Call Manager where CM is configured with * as a H.323 gateway, not client. CM supports H.323 to direct calls through gateways, and in fact until recently that is all they supported. They now also have MGCP, but only to their IOS platforms, and SIP is coming soon. There are NO sccp-based gateways, from Cisco anyways. Dan -----Original Message-----

Asterisk 0.7.1 RH 7.3 RPMS Released
Hello all, Per my last message to the list, and my promise to the Developers that I'd create RPMS if they released 0.7.0, I would like to announce the availability of experimental RPMS for Asterisk release 0.7.1. These are targeted at RedHat 7.3 systems, running the latest Kernel release (2.4.20-28.7). As the RPMS mature and people submit comments, changes, updates and patches, I will

Asterisk 0.7.0
Okay, it's 15 minutes late, but it's out, thanks very much to all the people who worked so hard this weekend to make this possible! Mark p.s. there was no 0.6.0 release.

Cisco 7905 can't register
My Cisco 7905 can't register with Asterisk (1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC7k on Debian stable). It could, however, register with another installation of Asterisk and the settings on the phone (apart from the SIP proxy address) haven't changed since then. On the new Asterisk box my sip.conf contains this: [jeremy] type=friend regexten=801 allow=g729 host=dynamic secret=PASSWORD nat=yes

RFC: Constructing StringRefs at compile time
Well, apparently clang has clang::StringLiteral in clang/AST/Expr.h So, our options are either: Allow this name clash (obviously the namespaces don't clash, only the names) and deal with it when it's an issue (which will be limited to clang, and even then not very often), or choose a different name. Thoughts? On Mon, Dec 12, 2016 at 11:53 AM Zachary Turner <zturner at google.com>

should `data` respect default.stringsAsFactors()?
Aha... Hadn't noticed that stringsAsFactors only works via as.is in read.table. Yes, the doc should probably be fixed. The code probably not -- packages loading different data sets depending on user options is an even worse idea than hav?ng the option in the first place... (I don't mean having the possibility, I mean the default.stringsAsFactor thing). In general, read.table() gets

should `data` respect default.stringsAsFactors()?
Hi Peter, Sorry if I was not clear. Perhaps an example will make my point: > data(iris) > class(iris$Species) [1] "factor" > write.table(iris,'data/myiris.tab') > data(myiris) > class(myiris$Species) [1] "factor" > rm(myiris) > options(stringsAsFactors = FALSE) > data(myiris) > class(myiris$Species) [1] "factor" >

Diax IAX2
I've downloaded diax-0.9.6b and configured for IAX2. Calls from Diax to * are perfect. However, when calling from * to Diax, I get the following: channel.c:1097 ast_read: Dropping incompatible voice frame on IAX2[mike]/3 of format GSM since our native format has changed to ULAW In iax.conf I have: allow=all disallow=g723.1 disallow=lpc10 allow gsm Has anyone else seen this? Thanks,

RE: current version
I tried to use it to create a 'trunk' to Cisco's call manager. The 0.7.1 code worked up to a point. The call would be established, but audio was one-way from the Call Manager. Asterisk with Chan_h323 would not setup the sending rtp stream. The debug results showed the sending stream as using ip:0.0.0.0 I have not checked for a CVS update to see if it is fixed, or if that
