[LLVMdev] C++14 support for shared_mutex
How can I tell at compile time through predefined macros whether libc++
includes/supports the C++14 header file shared_mutex ?
Given that I have identified that libc++ is being used, will this work ? :
#if __cplusplus >= 201402
// Header file shared_mutex supported
#endif
or do I need to check something else ?

[LLVMdev] Failure building llvm/clang from source using binary clang package on Mageia 2
On Mageia 2 I have installed the binary clang package clang3.0-7. When I
tried to build the latest llvm/clang from source using this binary clang
I get this error:

Where do my RPMs actually go, and is it different for Red Hat builds?
I'm trying to install themes for KDE. In doing so, I came across the
following web site which seems to have the themes I want as RPMs:
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/17/dept/3/idg/User+Interface_Desktop
The theme I want is called "Thinkeramik", and it has the following
versions, for various Red Hat builds:
thinkeramik-3.2.1-1.0.el3.kde.i386.rpm RedHat EL 3

Manually mounting partitions in "linux rescue" mode
I boot from the installation DVD, with an already existing CentOS 5.5
system on my hard disks. I have separate boot, root, and home
partitions. I have moved the boot partition and now I need to
re-initialize grub from rescue mode.
Attempting to use 'rescue mode" to automatically mount my system under
/mnt/sysimage eventally fails with an error message, which essentially

ant RPM for CentOS 4
Attempting to build OpenOffice 2 on CentOS 4 from rawhide (future FC5) SRPM.
The spec file has EL4 target (which is nice), and I got almost all dependencies
in place (mostly from 4.2beta and some from rawhide). However, I'm missing the
ant package. Ant from rawhide doesn't compile since it is already gcc 4 based
(fails on dependencies, getting it to use gcc4 instead of gcc seems like

R 2.2.2-1 RPM build problem and solution on RH AS 4 x86_64
I have a dual Xeon x86_64 system running Red Hat AS 4. There are no
x86_64 rpms in http://cran.us.r-project.org/bin/linux/redhat/el4/ (the
i386 ones are a point release behind anyway) , and the fc4 rpms have a
whole web of dependencies I don't want to pull in. So I decided to
build http://cran.us.r-project.org/bin/linux/redhat/SRPMS/R-2.2.1-1.fc3.src.rpm
.
When I ran rpmbuild. one of the
