Parking
Good Day list, My head is pounding from google overload. Does anyone know if there is any way to park a call and specify the ("context", "Extension", and Priority) of where to call back to if the call times out and is parked too long? ParkAndAnnounce does this feature, however I do not like that it has to call you back to announce the location. I want my cake and eat it

(no subject)
Does anyone keep a known telemarketer caller id database? If not has anyone proposed an Asterisk community project to share this information? Sort of a nation wide blacklist so Asterisk'ers can cut down on the garbage calls... -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n problems and kernel panic
Hi list! On a newly installed RHEL 4 box I'm trying to install bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n. Everything did compile but I am running into some problems with the zaphfc driver. First of all when I load zaphfc *before* zaptel (yes I know I shouldn't do that) I get a kernel panic and the box hangs. Not so nice, especially when you are trying to fix stuff from remote locations. But ok. Now for

Asterisk 1.0.7 on Gentoo
I installed Asterisk on Gentoo using emerge. At first, emerge tried installing version 0.9 but reading the wiki showed how to get the latest stable. I'm running Gentoo kernel 2.6.11-gentoo-r9. Asterisk seems to be working just fine, but I'm concerned that since I don't have any Digium hardware, I may need a timer source. When I executed emerge zaptel, it installed zaptel 1.0.7

ztdummy on Gentoo 2.6.10 Box
Hi Everyone, I read through the list on the issues with the ztdummy driver which I need for MeetMe, but I seem to have come across a problem that I cannot seem to find an answer for. I am running Gentoo 2.6.10 on an Intel box. I have read the the wiki entries on the ztdummy and followed the instructions as they relate to the 2.6 kernel. Everything compiled great, but a modprobe ztdummy

MeetMe Conference on Asterisk-1.4.13
Hello all, I am planning to setup a MeetMe conference functionality on Asterisk-1.4.13without having a Zaptel card. All users will be calling through SIP only. AFAIK, the said application needs a timer which makes use of the ztdummy module. I have basically two (2) problems I am encountering here that [1] I can't load the ztdummy.ko module and [2] Asterisk don't run when running it

Problem compiling ztdummy on centos 4, 2.6 kernel
Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well. I just joined the list, and I've really enjoyed all I have read about asterisk so far. Unfortunately, I'm having a bit of trouble implementing this thing :). By the way ... I did my best to search the forums, and also to use google extensively, and while I have found pages with people with the same problem, ... The fix suggested on those sites,

ztdummy build problems
Hi all, Trying to build ztdummy on an old redhat 7.3 box running kernel 2.4.20-43.7.legacysmp. Yes, I have the kernel sources installed. Yes, I set them up with make oldconfig; make dep. The build error is: make ztdummy gcc -I/usr/src/linux-2.4/include -O6 -DMODULE -D__KERNEL__ -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -I/usr/src/linux/drivers/net -Wall -I. -Wstrict-prototypes -fomit-frame-pointer -I/usr/src/

Sound quality issue in one direction and wctdm problem with APIC enabled kernel
I'm chasing down a pop/click type of disturbance on a PBX system. Strangely, the disturbance is only heard by the outside caller, the internal recipient hears the caller crystal clear. This seems to have crept up when upgrading the zaptel driver to the 1.2 series while running 1.0.10. I went ahead and upgraded the entire system to 1.2.4. The system is a ~2Ghz AMD 32bit system, with 512MB of

RV: Not working!
You where SOO right. My idea is to connect the "line" to my pbx and call from internet (h323?) to my linux box, and then dial an extension.. Is there any doc there? Cause Ive read a few and I did not get much really. I should configure asterisk now and the job is done? -----Mensaje original----- De: asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com] En
