Level(3) SIP termination services
John, I spoke with Level(3) last week regarding SIP termination. They quoted $0.01/minute, with an 11 Million Minute / Month minimum. Asterisk International Carrier Buildout - Create our own International networks for BEST pricing!
Asterisk Users, I am reposting to the Asterisk-Users list what I saw on the Asterisk-Biz list by Mr. Jeff Grammer, GOD BLESS HIM! I am in the Hamptons today, trying to whew a client, and he took a look at my Level3 Partner pricing, and laughed, as his rates were better than mine!!! To top that off, I am colocated within the Level3 datacenter, he has no computers, and gets better rates. So,

Billing system experiences with Advanced Communications?
I ran across this URL the other day: http://www.advancedvoip.com/ It seems that they have a low-priced solution for billing, which seems to have some interesting features (at least, via the canned demo they provide.) It handles CDRs and also (sorry, Jeremy) Radius, and seems to have a lot of features. I'll be calling them later today to discuss their product, if only out of curiosity

What can I do to UNDERSTAND why I can't reach centos.org (but everyone else can)?
What can I do to UNDERSTAND why, periodically, I can't reach www.centos.org (but everyone else can)? Every few months, http://www.centos.org just drops off for me and for me only. It's not the web site, because I can reach it via a proxy (e.g., TOR browser bundle) and other tests show it to be alive (e.g., http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/centos.org or

lme-post hoc
Hi all, I analysed my data with lme and after that I spent a lot of time for mean separation of treatments (post hoc). But still I couldn’t make through it. Hierarchical multi-level model with lmer: why are the highest-level random adjustments 0?
Hi all I have a hopefully not too stupid question about multi-level / mixed-effects modeling. I was trying to test a strategy from Crawley's 2013 R Book on a data set with the following structure: - dependent variable: CONSTRUCTION (a factor with 2 levels) - independent fixed effect: LENGTH (an integer in the interval [1, 61]) - random effects with the following hierarchical structure: MODE

Call termination database
I've been considering doing a web based database system, where you can post your termination offerings or wanted, then search by location, price, minimum volumes, etc. I'd probably make it free, supported by advertising my consulting company, or Google Adwords, or something like that. I've got the design written down, all ready to start coding. I could probably have a prototype

SIP 800 Origination/Termination - International
Anyone have a good provider for International (US/Canada at least) 800 termination/origination? I have a customer that had us port one of their 800 numbers and apparently didn't realize that they had published that number in Canada as well. Our current origination/termination provider can't handle Canadian inbound calls to that number, so I need to find another provider that can.

Fwd: Message from iptel.org SIP admin (more register= bugs)
Bug in the register= code; see details below from the developer of "ser" (SIP Express Router) Apparently, ACKs don't need to be sent on OK's to REGISTERs. Plus, malformed data somewhere... no details on that, though. JT >Date: Sun, 23 Feb 2003 23:54:07 +0100 >To: John Todd <jtodd at loligo.com> >From: Jiri Kuthan <jiri at iptel.org> >Subject: Re:

question on assigning an argument in a function that is create by the function itself
Hi, I need some help with making a function a bit more elegant. How would you all suggest avoiding the problem I've made myself below - I've written a function that creates a temporary matrix by subseting a larger one I assign it. I then call vectors from that matrix, add each item in the vector to create a cumulative vector for each factor, and then patch them all back together.

Why I can't retrieve GO identifier correctly?
Hello, R experts, I tried to retrieve all biological process GO terms at level 3 starting "biological process" as level 1 using the code as bellows: 1 library(GO) 2 library(GOstats) 3 level2<-getGOChildren("GO:0008150")$"GO:0008150"$Children 4 for ( i in 1:length(level2)) { 5 level3 <- getGOChildren(level2[i])$level2[i]$Children 6 for ( j in

69.x.x.x network in rfc1918
I came across a problem when one of our clients was not able to access any of the servers on our network. This person has never connected to us before and now for this first time was trying to do it from his home is Houston, TX using earthlink cable service provided by Time Warner. All this information, I think, is important because when I started examining my shorewall logs I found out

Cisco ATA-186 config guide for Asterisk
I really should be doing something better on this beautiful weekend, but I'm trying to save myself some time for later projects by documenting some things that have been particularly troublesome in the past. That being said... I've written up a configuration guide for the Cisco ATA-186, which describes some of the features that are possible to set in the ATA and specifically what

What is the best way to resale termination/origination?
Hi, We have been selling * systems for a while and always have used other companies for origination and termination and let the client pay directly. Since we do not have enough traffic to justify building our own infrastructure we would like to start reselling someone else's service. Any ideas? It would have to include easy way for billing. Thank you. robert -------------- next part

Level3 reseller needed
I'm in the Northeast US and looking for any recommendations on Level3 resellers. I don't do enough volume to go to Level3 directly. If there's anybody you'd definitely avoid I'd love to hear about that too. Thanks, Adam
