Channelbank Recomendation and GS102 question
Hi All.
I'm working on an * configuration. We require 8 inbound POTS lines, and
CT1 or PRI seems like it will be
quite expensive at that level. I've read that a T1 Channelbank plus
the T100P would be a (the?) way to go
for this situation. What is the recommended channelbank for use in this
scenario? From searching the archives

Does Asterisk overwrite any libraries?
I am using a brand new RH9.0 installation. I installed Asterisk afterwards so I am not sure if Asterisk caused the problem below. The ps doesn't work. It could also be something else. I also tried installing a some video package. But I thought to ask here first if someone has seen this before.

OT: Work offer - SAMBA consultant required in Sydney, Australia.
Hi all - sorry for the off-topic posting - just that the list of consultants on the samba site is horrendously out of date! I thought that this would be the best place for me to find suitable resources...
firstly I would like to say thanks a million to all the samba team for your ongoing efforts and great product. I just wish I had more time to experiment with it!
We have the startings of a good

Help needed with installing ZAPHFC
I need some help with installing Asterisk with ZAPHFC on my Linux system. I've installed Red Hat 9 with kernal 2.4.20-8 and upgraded it to 2.4.31-9.
I've donwloaded bristuff (several versions) but all fail to compile. There seems to be some includes missing in /usr/includes/linux. Although I have significant experience with other platforms, I'm new to Linux and would need someone to

Share access on new server
I am new to the Samba world and need to port the Samba setup from an old server running BEL Server (RedHat under the hood) with Samba 3.0.25 to a RedHat EL 5.2 server with Samba 3.0.28, but some of the share access is not working.
After copying over the smb.conf file I ran testparm and had issues with the oplocks so I commented out the entries referring to oplocks (also the docs indicated that

[PATCH v2v] v2v: -o rhv-upload: Make -oo rhv-cafile optional in all cases (RHBZ#1791240).
This is actually not required, because ovirtsdk4 will use the system's
global trust store if necessary. Therefore we can make it optional in
all cases.

Win95/WinNT name mangling / case sensitivity
Hello,
could anyone give me a working configuration (only the 3 or 4 lines
required for the desired settings) for our Win95 / WinNT4.0-Clients.
Our samba server: 1.9.18p7
Our customers would drag and drop a file within the browsers from a local drive
(for example C:) to a SAMBA-connetced network drive *WITHOUT* changing anything
within the file name (length, case etc.).
I would be glad to get

CVS RC4 -q0 too good!
May I suggest that the up coming RC4 or 1.0 needs some quality selection
adjustments. It has been said that if you are happy now with a
particular quality setting, later releases will produce the same quality
but reduce the average bitrate. This is not currently the case. IMHO
-q4 in CVS is producing almost perfect results and features audio
frequencies up to 21khz -- almost CD quality.

File transfer speed issue
Hi all,
I have aproblem with Samba copying (unfortunatly I'm new to samba so my
skills are fairly limited).
I have a sun box (solaris 8) with samba 2.2.2.
Copying from sun to a nt server is fast (as good as you would expect)
however, copying from the nt server to the sun box is slow (files copy
normally, then slow to a complete halt then copy very slowly).
We cannot see anything on a
