Mysql CDR
hello all,
I am using the msql cdr module to store cdr in db, I realised that it does't capture the start and end time af a particular call record.
Therefore I dive into the source code to add the start and end time into the query (add something like cdr->start, cdr->end), but end up getting segfault.
the original version of cdr_mysql.so works fine but I need the start time and end

snom 200 version 2.03b with changed music on hold
Hi folks,
in order to establish backward compatibility we made an image that
automatically detects if the other side does not support RFC3264. Please try
it out, we would be very interested if this image is a progress!

Asterisk behind NAT << How to do it.
Thanks to ww and his patch on bug #104, I have successfully implemented
Asterisk behind NAT without using STUN or anything crazy. It's quite
straight forward.
Until this gets tested enough and put into CVS, you will have to patch
your chan_sip.c file to do this. I'm sure within the next few days this
will get put merged into CVS if no one finds any problems.
I tried this on chan_sip.c

asterisk seg faults upon calling in via ISDN.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Asterisk 11.5 not honoring RTP port change in RE-INVITE
I have an Asterisk 11.5 system, using SIP Realtime and operating as a ITSP. One of my customer's endpoints is a NetVanta 7100 PBX system that has a SIP trunk connection to my Asterisk box. The NV 7100 has a public IP on it that doesn't have any NAT between it and my Asterisk system. When the customer transfers a call from one handset to a voicemail box, the NV 7100 sends a RE-INVITE to

Alternatives to FXS cards?
Hi everyone,
I know someone makes a product that's a POTS phone to SIP converter,
where you just plug your POTS phone in one side and the network cable in
the other. Has anyone successfully used any of these with Asterisk, and
if so how expensive were they?
I ask partly out of frustration with the FXS cards but mostly because it
would make installation MUCH easier for what we're

R: Asterisk and Call Hold
Hi All,
I have a problem with asterisk and call hold.
In the re-invite package when I take the call to the hold, the SDP value "a=sendrecv" is present, according to the rfc3264 the sdp value a must be mark with "sendonly".
I've already tried with Asterisk 1.8 and Asterisk 11, but there is the same problem.
I've already read all the information about canreinvite and

Codec negotiation issue (no audio format found to offer)
Running build 1.8.5.0 (compiled from source) I seem to be having an issue
with codec negotiation. I have a Grandstream HT503 FXO port connected to a
pstn line, a Polycom SP501, and a SIP trunk with callwithus.
What I'm essentially looking to accomplish is for ulaw or g729 (preferably
ulaw) to be used to the Grandstream FXO or any other internal endpoint, and
for g729 only to be used outbound

Xten Lite Build 1079
I've just down loaded Xten Lite and it is now build 1079.
It now finds the NAT firewall type and has loads more to configure.
But it doesn't work on my poor W95 tablet PC.

What exactly do you mean by archiving?
I mean every single email sent and recieved is kept for a period of
time (3 -5 years) separate from users mail, and emails cant be
deleted. Ideally emails would have compression, mailboxes need to be
searchable easily, and some mechanism whereby attachments sent to
multiple people only get saved once, and emails sent to multiple
people only get saved once. I could do something with

problem submitting R bug; bug plotting in tiling window manager
Ah, thank you for that explanation. I somehow didn't catch that my

problem with normalizePath()
I found this as well. At our institution, our home directories are on
network shares that are mapped to local drives. The default, it appears, is
to set the location for libraries (etc) to the network share name
(//computer//share/director/a/b/user) rather than the local drive mapping
(H:/). Given the issue with dir.create(), this means it's impossible to
install packages (since it tries to
