digium dev kit - X100P & TDM400P
Hello.
Well I finally rx'd my dev kit (new batch of TDM's apparently.
I'm on Mandrake 9.1
There were no hardware install instructions, it would have been nice to know
whether the 4-way power connector was to be used or was for some other future
or expansion purpose.
It came with a floppy disc, no label and it wasn't even write protected.
The only readme file was

cdr_csv actual duaration
Hi all.
I have some question about cdr_csv.
We want to have some IVR system for routing incoming calls to multiple directions. So when user make a call, he must put his PIN and phone number. Then asterisk will Dial this call to appropriate destination. Billing system deal with cdr_csv records. But the "Billable seconds" field - all time of the call, including the IVR part (that

Grandstream Budgettone 100 & 102
Checking the earlier mails, it stated that the phones were $75 (100) & $85
(102) ref :-

Well, I just called Ovislink/dgtimes and was quoted $90 & $100 and the person
said there was no price change.
Anyone on this list actually bought them at the $75 & $85 rate ???

New installation does not show on network
Ever since installing Fedora 7, samba stopped showing the machine on the
network. I can connect to it by entering the machine name (\\lazarus),
but it will not show itself from a Windows machine. I tried a command
suggested to test if it was listening and this is what I got;
$ smbclient -L localhost -U%
Domain=[LAZARUS] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.25b-2.fc7]

Problems with cdr_csv
Hello All,
It seems that this question is very stupid, but anyway. Do I need any
additional configuration for cdr_csv.so? This module is loaded by
default at Asterisk's startup (asterisk -fvvv):
[cdr_csv.so] => (Comma Separated Values CDR Backend)
But when I place call I didn't see anything in /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv.
There is also no errors or warnings regarding this

RESOLUTION: SetCDRUserField not working in A@H?
Paul,
Thanks - it worked! For the record, this is exactly what I did:
cd/usr/src/asterisk/cdr
grep -in "userfield" cdr_csv.c
(to find the line that had "#define CSV_LOGUSERFIELD 1" commented out)
Opened cdr_csv.c and removed the /* and */ comment marks
Saved & exited
After shutting down * I went to /usr/src/asterisk and did the usual:
Make clean
Make
Make install

using samba to serve the whole tree of home directories
I'm trying to use samba to serve a number of home
directories to other samba Linux clients on my
network.
ie. I have a set of client machines that want to use
the /home directory that my samba server will provide
I thought I could set up a share that goes something
like this
[homedirs]
path = /home
writable = true
On a client machine, I smbmount //myserver/homedirs

Fw: Re: title problem
It seems that there is a problem in
displaying subtitle in general, independently from
multi-plot display. when I do
plot (c(1,2,3), c(9,8,7), type = "l")
title(main = "Main title", sub ="Sub title",cex.main=2,
cex.sub = 2)
subtitle doesn't get displayed

Is SIPPEER curcalls working for you ?
Hi,
In this thread
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2008-October/219592.html ,
I wondered whether SIPPEER curcalls was working.
I could test this anew today. Here are my findings :
Alice, Bob and Carol ar all using SIP Phones.
Whenever Alice is calling Bob,
- if Carol is calling Alice, SIPPEER(Alice:curcalls) equals 0
- if Carol is calling Bob, SIPPEER(Bob:curcalls) equals 1

I didn't.
Now I did and it's working the way I wanted.
Meanwhile, I had found a (complex) workaround using GROUP, GROUP_COUNT and
SIPPEER but limitonpeers is much more concise.
Thanks a lot.

Help on seting SAMBA on a Intergraph server running CLIX
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello:
I'm trying to share a partition on a Intergraph 6480 running CLIX.
The OS is CLIX version 3.1 (ISS) r.7.6.20.
The server is at a University Lab and all the clients are either
Windows NT or Windows 95.
I tried NFS, but Windows doesn't support it natively and is much
slower/unreliable than SAMBA.
Does SAMBA support this

How to create a hard disk image to load with pxelinux
Hello:
I'm trying to load a DR-DOS image for a set of thin clients through the
memlinux module of pxelinux.
After some help from the people at the Etherboot list, I was able to
make a DR-DOS 2.88 floppy image and loaded it O.K.
The problem is that the program I need to deploy requires a C: drive, so
I'm trying to create a hard disk image to load.
I couldn't find any help on how to
