GrandStream 1.0.4.55 Firmware
Hello,
Anyone using the 1.0.4.55 firmware release with any success? I
have had my Budgetone running 1.0.4.50 for about a month and a half now
with no problems whatsoever, and I am a little leary about upgrading.

Client for P800/P900
Hi Guys,
is there a client which can be used on the SonyEricsson P800/P900...?
IAX would be cool, but i take anything that can connect (via bluetooth)
to an asterisk-server ;-).
The phone is Symbian, and can also execute java-stuff...

Budgetone + NAT: Firmware Version?
I inadvertently unplugged my Budgetone phone tonight and I think it went
out and upgraded its firmware.
It is now at 1.0.3.81.
Does anyone know how new this might be? Suddenly things that have been
working wonderfully before don't work--basically it seems to do the SIP
stuff just fine but then all the RTP stuff breaks, even something as
simple as retrieving my voicemail from a server on

BudgeTone-100 Early Dial
Hi All
I have 3 GrandStream BudgeTone-100's which connect to an * box with a HFC-S
based ISDN card using ISDN4Linux.
I have setup the BudgeTone-100's to use Early Dial which for calling between
the three phones works well, but for the external calls using the following
extension
exten => _9.,1,Dial(Modem/g1:${EXTEN:1})
Only the first digit is dial on the ISDN Line.
Does anyone know of

Budgetone and NAT not working
I have a couple of Budgetones that I am playing with trying to get them
to work with * from a remote network over the Internet (yes NAT joy!).
My * server is in my DMZ and I have 5060 and my RTP range forwarded
(UDP) to my public address (through a Cisco PIX). Internally, I can
setup my budgetone, it registers and works great. I then have a Linksys
router connected to another Internet

SIP register/auth with Grandstream BudgeTone-100
Hello,
I have a problem with asterisk and Grandstream BudgeTone-100.
With default configuration everything works (in anonymous mode and fixed
IP), but if Im trying to enable registering, it dos not work.
I used 'sip debug' and verbose level 10, nothing happens if I switch
telephone on (no messages about bad auth etc). As I understood, after
switching phone on at first it will try to

BudgeTone-102 MWI&CID with Asterisk
Hi,
I'm considering giving the Grandstream BudgeTone-102 phones a try. I've been using Cisco 7960's to date, but the low cost of the Grandstream phones are hard to ignore. I have two questions:
1) Does the message waiting indicator on the BudgeTone's work with Asterisk?
2) The one line 12-digit LDC concerns me a bit. Is the LCD able to display both the CID number and name on

Asterisk + BudgeTone (behind NAT)
I'm using Asterisk on a open server (no firewall or NAT) and trying to
communicate with a Grandstream BudgeTone 102 SIP phone which is behind
NAT. The BudgeTone is at firmware level 1.0.4.30 and Asterisk is from CVS
about a week ago. My problem is that I'm only getting half-duplex
communication -- I can hear voice from the Asterisk server but the server
does not understand any voice from

Grandstream Budgetone 100 Caller ID shows extension, not incoming Caller ID
I've looked through the archives - and see questions similar to mine,
but no answers. What, if anything, can be done to get the incoming
Caller ID to be presented on the Budgetone's Caller ID display? In all
other respects the phone+Asterisk seem to be extremely happy with each
other.

SMS over PRI/E1?
hi all
I spoke to this guy the other day, working with Cisco's VoIP system. He
told me they were using a PRI/E1 to transport SMS, and could even do so
from their phones.
May this be possible with asterisk? I have an E100P in my primary
asterisk server connected to a E1/PRI.

Hot plug PCI?
The quick question: Do the digium drivers for the Digium Wildcard TE410P
(4 port T1/E1/PRI 3.3v card) , the T100P (single port T1), and the
TDM400P support hot plug PCI? I am also noting that while the TDM400P
doesn't state the voltage requirements, it looks like a 5v card. I hope
that I am wrong on this.
What type of T1 channel bank would people recoment for ISDN (for video

TDMoE or IAX?
Hi all,
Information on this topic seems a little scarce, so I thought I'd try
the list....
Apart from the the coolness factor can anyone explain to me in what
situation one would use TDMoE rather than IAX for communication
betwwen 2 Asterisk servers?

Asterisk and Sipura SPA-841 SIP phones
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Well, a bit of a newbie using Asterisk and trying to get some Sipura SPA-841
phones to talk to the Asterisk server. Not doing something right
apparently....
If I turn on debug for the extension in the CLI (sip debug ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)
I see frequent 5 packet attempts by the server to contact the phone, but
seems to always be failing. The status

Asterisk/Grandstream Budgetone disconnect issue
I am setting up a small Asterisk system for use at home. I have one Budgetone 101, one Cisco 7960 and two Xten lite softphones. So far everything is working expect for an issue with the Budgetone. When a call is placed between the Budgetone and any other phone, the call is setup and sounds good. If I hang-up on the Budgetone, everything is ok. If I hang up on the other phone, the Budgetone

Multiple E1s over TDMoE?
When I was trying to run mutiple E1s over TDMoE, the zaptel would
drivers complain about too little memory, whenever I added more than 31
channels. Requesting 62 channels in a dynamic span gave me
... span creation failed: Cannot allocate memory
upon loading the zaptel drivers.
How would you go about running, 8 or 16 say, E1s over TDMoE? Would you
create multiple dynamic spans or just one large

Registering a Grandstream Budgetone with Asterisk from Home
Hello guys,
I ask you to share your experience with your BudgeTone 100....
I have my asterisk @ work and I've bought a GrandStream BudgeTone (SIP
phone) and I usually use X-Lite
I have plugged my BudgeTone into my home network because I want to be
called even at home.
I succeed to register my X-Lite with Asterisk from home but I can't do
that with my BudgeTone. (I don't know
