minor(? ) Grandstream phone issue
I hate to bother the list with this potentially minor issue but.... I just wonder if it's a symtom of some other problem. Every time I make a call the BT-102, with the latest firmware, she just keeps the LED display lit and the timer counting after hangup. I check the CLI and the hangup is being executed, I certainly was concerned it might be keeping the line open but that doesn't seem

UK BT PRI
Has anyone got a working zaptel.conf and zapata.conf for a Digium Wildcard TE110P T1/E1 Card. It's connected to a BT ISDN PRI (EuroISDN) with 24 channels. Inbound works fine, but outbound isn't setting CLI (it seems the line supports 6 digit CLI). Inbound CLI works fine. In the dial-plan using Set(CALLERID(num)=123456) then Dial(Zap/g1/01234567||frT) Where 123456 is in the range of BT

Is there a Caller ID issue in the latest CVS Stable
Greetings, 2 nights ago I upgraded one of my remote servers to the latest CVS Stable, Asterisk CVS-v1-0-02/07/05-16:13:48, and my inbound and outbound caller ID stopped working. At first I thought it was my carrier, so I've been yelling at them for the past day or so. I then upgraded my core network (about 8 asterisk servers) to the latest stable as of 3am last night, Asterisk

Grandstream BT-101 POS Error
Hi- I'm at my wit's end trying to get a Grandstream BT-101 POS to register on my * server. Asterisk version is 1.2.1. GS Firmware is rev 1.0.6.7. Basically, I've setup the phone following the instructions at voip-info.org, and it registers for about 10 seconds, then after receiving the SIP NOTIFY from the * server, goes into "flashing display" mode, which indicates some

Grandstream Budgetone BT-101 audio problems
Hi all, I'm having a really frustrating time with a bunch of BT-101 phones. They've been trouble-free and working very well for the past several months. A couple of days ago, some of the phones (but not all of them, yet) have started acting very strangely. All phones are running firmware 1.0.6.7, and are identically configured (except for the user/authenticate/password things) on both the

One way audio when the BT-100 is behind Firewall
Hi, When we use BudgeTone-100 in our Intranet together with our Asterisk IP PBX everything is working OK. When we try to use the phone behind the Firewall we can't do the connection. When I try to use STUN Server: 128.107.250.38 there is no result. The only way in which I have audio from the one direction (BT-100 to Asterisk) is when I leave blank STUN Server and specify the IP Address in

AGI solution to Grandstream BT102 call waiting problem
I'm trying to fix a problem with the GrandStream Budgetone 102. I've been reading the source code, mailing lists and other resources. Here's the scenario and the approach I have been pursuing. I'm having some problems with the AGI calls and I hope someone can give me some clarification. PSTN <---> T1,PRI * <---> Grandstream BT 102 (12)

ATA shootout: PAP2T versus Grandstream Handytone 286
I'm considering a situation where I buy about twenty ATA devices. I've played with the Linksys / Cisco PAP2T, and got that working fine with some inbound and outbound faxing. The web GUI was okay. I'm seeing prices around $45 to $50 for this thing. It comes with two FXS ports, but I only need one FXS. I've seen the Grandstream Handytone 286 online. It looks promising as an

Polycon IP 300 SIP vs Grandstream BT-101 Deployment
Hi, I have just completed the deployment of a couple of Grandstream phones (for internal IP use) and was wondering how much harder it would be to deploy a Polycom IP 300 phone. The Grandstream was quite easy to deploy and gives us good voice quality over DSL, however from some of the previous posts I am see that some people had troubles with the Polycom 300. The variant I am looking at

BT ISDN-30 Call Failures
I'm seeing both inbound and outgoing call failures on our ISDN-30 lines that only seem to go away when I do a "zap restart" or in extremis restart Asterisk (1.4.25 with a Digium TE205P and zaptel 1.4.12.1). If I don't restart zapata or Asterisk the problem rapidly get worse :-( The lines are from BT with LCR from Cable&Wireless (I've tried using the LCR bypass code and

DAHDI: Inbound BRI call, DDI not presented
Hello- I have a system with one D410P and one B200P (both OpenVox). All is well with the D410P, inbound and outbound, and I can initiate calls on the B200P BRI span, but there may be something wrong with my inbound BRI setup: there is no indication of an inbound call when I dial in to it from the PSTN. When I run "pri intense debug" and make a call to the BRI span, I can see a

zapata.conf for a BT phone line with a TDM422P
Hi guys Forgive the newbie question but I am setting up my first * system :-) I live in the UK with two standard BT phone lines. The hardware used is a TDM400P with two FXO and two FXS daughter boards. Currently only one FXO and one FXS line is used during testing. Incoming calls work fine, as do the phones plugged into the system. However outbound calls do not work. The number is dialled,

Latest CVS fax detection & grandstream bug
As a follow up to my previous post, I have now identified what is causing the bug with the grandstream phones. When the line faxdetection=incoming is in the zapata.conf file, the grandstream phones will not ring, nor connect a call to the zaptel interface. Can anyone else confirm this bug? I'm going to play with the different options (incoming/outgoing/both) to see if it makes a
