X-Lite from Home
Hi, I'm having a few issues with X-Lite from home. Setup is as follows: Asterisk --- Work Router ---(internet)--- Home Router --- Home Pc with X-Lite The router at work has a port forward to 5060 on the asterisk ip. X-Lite then connects to the server through this port, it can log in and sometimes it will work fine. I have the latest cvs version of asterisk, with two zap pstn channels.

Relative Newbie with a SIP/NAT issue
Hello, Please forgive me if this has been addressed previously. I have been searching the archives and have not come across what I thought was a solution. My * server is behind a DSL router using a NAT IP address of 10.0.0.9. A colleague running XP and X-Lite can register with * from his home, specifying my public IP as the SIP proxy in X-Lite (however this is only true if I have the NAT flag

FW: one way choppy sound problem !
Hello list, I've been experiencing choppy sound as well. The version on Asterisk I was using originally was dated 10/24/03 (I think), the problem appeared after I updated from that version. My setup is a little different though. I'm having choppy sound only on some incoming calls -- from PSTN->PBX (between spans on a TE410) and PSTN->SIP. We use Cisco 7940 handsets and we also

does SSH.COM really in fact approve of the generic meaning of "SSH"?
I hate to open up a discussion that may already be closed (I haven't really followed the trademark dispute other than via the postings to NewsForge, and in particular the one on March 7), and I can't find on www.openssh.com an obviously more appropriate address to send this thought to, so.... [note my reply-to address] though the message below purports to come from <owner-ssh at
