Message lamp integration with legacy pbx -- revisited
I see from the archives that Siggi Langauf was wanting to do exactly what I want to do back in November 2003. Here is what he asked: I would like to do a pilot with some legacy gear, however. Accordingly, I'd like to be able to have * dial 1000X where X is the box that has a new voicemail message and 1001X when the user of mb X deletes the new message(s). The dialing should occur

CentOS 6.4, LAMP, MariaDB
Hi, I am trying to install a LAMP stack using MariaDB on CentOS 6.4, 64 bit. I have installed MariaDB by using the MariaDB repository configuraton tool. I installed php by itself. Both MariaDB and php individually test fine. I know that php-mysql has to be installed to complete the LAMP stack installation. From lots of googling I understand that there is a php-mysql and a php-mysqlnd.

Permissions for LAMP
I am running a Lamp server on a CentOS 6.5 box. It works fine, I am concerned that I may have the wrong file/dir permissions. The directories /var and /var/www are root:root and 755. For /var/www/html and all directories underneath I have apache:apache and 770. For all files under /var/www/html I have apache:apache and 660. Are these these permissions OK? Thank you, Joe

Hi Jonathan, Configuring SELinux is somewhat complicated, so I would usually set SELinux mode to permissive. ________________________________ From: CentOS <centos-bounces at centos.org> on behalf of Jonathan Billings <billings at negate.org> Sent: Saturday, September 29, 2018 7:48 PM To: CentOS mailing list Subject: Re: [CentOS] Step-by-Step Tutorial: How to Setup Your Own

[Atcom] Asterisk + LAMP on 128MB RAM?
Hello I'm thinking of selling an Asterisk server based on Atcom's IP02 solid-state unit with one FXO and one FXS ports: http://atcom.cn/En_products_IP02.htm By default, this unit based on a 400MHz Blackfin 532 chip only has 64MB RAM and 256MB of NAND flash. Those can be increased to 128MB and 1GB, respectively. Do you think I can install Linux + Asterisk + LAMP (replacing MySQL with

LAMP on CentOS 4
Is there a reasonable way to upgrade to the latest Apache, MySQL and PHP packages on a CentOS 4 machine without breaking a bunch of dependencies or upgrading every other package on the machine manually (assuming that would even work)? I'm not having much luck getting an online 4 to 5 upgrade to work on a basic server, so I'm thinking that's not going to be a viable option for all of

Busy Lamp Field
Some days ago there was a subject regarding BLF (SIP Phone-receptionist Setup). We are the developers of a Price Verify Terminal for a French company. We have developed the hardware (small board based on a PPC 823e), working with Linux embedded (based on Wolfgang Denk's work). I think that it can be a good BLF. Probably it is possible to integrate the Nicolas's FOP or a new application.

Looking for a Voicemail Lamp device
I'm looking for an external device that can flash when there is new voicemail in a mailbox. I'm using an SPA3000 with a Uniden 5.8 ghz wireless phone system. Problem is, the Uniden system has it's own answering machine, which I don't want to use. But the message lamps are driven solely by the internal answering machine function. Looking for something else to give a visual

Busy Lamp Fields
Hi all A quick question about busy lamps I have lamps working 'sort-of' on my GXP2000 lamps flash with ringing and go solid red when call gets answered but stay green when a call is made from the extension. Setup is Ext 200, 201, 202, each monitor the other two when 200 calls 202 - the BLF on 200 and 201 flash red - when 202 answers both 200 and 201 show BLF for 200 as red but
