ggplot cumsum refined question (?)
OK, so maybe last night was a little too much at one throw, so I have reduced the data to two stations- one that has precipitation and one that does not. This is going to be in the context of a larger data set. I would like to be able to issue a ggplot command and have cum sum just act on the facets (factors) to apply this. library(chron) library(ggplot2) DF <- structure(list(date_time =

3.2.6 or 3.3
Hello list, We have been using 3.2.6 the last few months and are reasonably happy with it. I am about to build a new file server (to replace the existing solution) and now have to decide to either stick with 3.2.6 (because we know it works) or upgrade to 3.3. Main use will be a few distributed, replicated volumes on two servers with maybe a dozen or so clients. Secondary use will be a

How to loop on file names
Dear all, I need to do the same procedure on several files. But I don't know how to refer to the file name. Here is an example of what I am trying to do. Asterisk PRI Busy Problem
Hi, I've an PRI coming to my asterisk ,calls are coming fine and my agents are able to answer no prob. but I've an agreement with my telco with some incoming no if the no of calls on these no are more then 3 then send to another no. they use busy signal to divert call on another number so I'm sending the call to Congestion() if no of calls in this group are more then 3. But my

Using local writes with gluster for temporary storage
Hi, We have a cluster with 130 compute nodes with an NAS-type central storage under gluster (3 bricks, ~50TB). When we run large number of ocean models we can run into bottlenecks with many jobs trying to write to our central storage. It was suggested to us that we could also used gluster to unite the disks on the compute nodes into a single "disk" in which files would be written

Swap memory: I can't reconcile this stuff.
I need to look more into it, but before I start the long and arduous "googling my life away" process, I figured someone might know the answer. I've read the man pages several times and they didn't change! :-( As normal, while looking at one thing, something else bites my butt. I tuned on the swap field in top and sort on it. Here's an edited snippet of the results. Mem:

slog / log recovery is here!
(From the README) # Jeb Campbell <jebc at c4solutions.net> NOTE: This is last resort if you need your data now. This worked for me, and I hope it works for you. If you have any reservations, please wait for Sun to release something official, and don''t blame me if your data is gone. PS -- This worked for me b/c I didn''t try and replace the log on a running system. My

[LLVMdev] Ada support for llvm-gcc4
I'm trying to get the Ada gcc front-end to work with LLVM. This series of patches gets things to the point where the Ada compiler builds, though it fails to build itself or the runtime. While I was there I resurrected fortran and java: as with Ada, the compilers build but not the runtimes. Also, I've replaced the gcc 4.0 Ada front-end with a back-port of the Ada front-end from FSF gcc

Large Asterisk installarions (~10, 000 extensions), preferably at universities
Hello, Our university has to upgrade soon its old Nortel PBX's which holds around 10,000 extensions tied to 5 PBXes. Up to now we thought about commercial solutions but now there is a window openning for open source solution. However, I need examples to convince that this solution is feasible, and preferably at other universities. Are there any pointers for such installations?
